WOOOHOO THEIR BACK!

A sure sign of spring for us. I saw and heard the Robin today. I love their chatter and song as the sun sets and rises. I was outside with Miggy so she could do her business and I heard a familiar sound , I stopped and thought am I imagining that cause I want them back , NOO cant be its windy snowing lightly and not exactly what I call weather to return in,  then I heard it again the wonderful chirp, chirp of the Robin so I scanned around to see if I could see him and he was siting right up the tippy top of our hedges , well a big sigh of relief came over me. I gave  a huge smile and I crazily said to Miggy as if she would understand, our Robins are back Miggy WOOHOO  ! she looked at me with that tilt of her head her ears perked as if to say you ok mum. She must of thought I had lost my marbles but I didn't care the Robins are back ! Now with a bit of luck I can get out there and photograph a few!

Speaking of Miggy, she is doing well, she will be getting her bandages off on Friday and her stitches out, then the long haul of therapy for the month to get her back to be able to run around in the yard again , chase squirrels , play fetch and go for long walks. I cant wait to have her back to her old silly fun self and I bet she cant wait either.

Papa has been teaching me how to use Photo shop so I can do my own photo collages, WOW! there is a lot to this program , I find it can be very intimidating to one like me whom isn't very computer literate but with Papa’s knowledge , help  and heaps of patients and the odd playing around with it I hope to be able to get the gist of it. I will be able to make my own works of art with my photos in collages !

Well that's all for today folks , I hope you all have a wonderful day !

Your robin photo is award winning. It is so fitting as the robin is Wisconsin's state bird and sitting on a milk can. Kudos to you.

Yes, the chuckling of robins is a sure and welcome sign of spring!

I LOVE the winsome face of your dear Miggy. Is a Miggy a mixed breed? I am new to your blog and will scan to see more information.

The best way to learn is to have a go, each time you use it you will learn something new.

Elaine, glad to read that the robins have returned. They are back here in force and today I counted well over a dozen in the back yard and the neighbor's yard as well. The photo of Miggy is very cute. Good luck on learning photoshop. I have an old version and fool around with it every now and then. As for collages, there is an easy way to do them - download Picasa (free) and you can make collages easily. It's what Grenville and I use to make ALL the collages featured in our blog - just a helpful hint.

I can't imagine having robins here yet... They would starve,,,
I have been messing around with mosaics, too.
It takes a lot of time when I am not very computer literate...

Fortune has fallen on you....robin song and sighting already. Do you suppose he is a scout, just checking out the temperature?
Your Miggy is adorable...lovin' those precious eyes. I'm new here and will be back.
You on your tractor blew me away, you look exactly like my sis Cher from CherShots when she was a wee one...is that unreal or what. I guess that makes you family.
