A Quiet Christmas, Suiting Up & Winters Canvas

 Hello all 

Hope everyone had a good Christmas , It was a quiet one but good , Summer and Harley enjoyed the treats and toys they got from Santa Paws . 

               Papa and I had a lovely Christmas dinner of a big ham with all the trimmings  and now we have lots of ham leftovers and I can make quick suppers for the rest of the week plus we still have a turkey to cook so lots of leftovers 😀

  Papa and I have been Suiting up to play in the snow with Summer , she is so much fun .

         Winter is so much more fun when you can get out in it stay warm  play and take photos of winters canvas .

Its been snowing on and off since Christmas eve which before it was raining and we didn't think we were going to get a white Christmas . The snow may not last long now either as we are to get a big warm up and lots of rain next week so its going to be a mucky mess in the yard and our puppers Summer will end up  being a mud monkey when she goes outside  lol .

                  Well this is about it for us here in our little neck of the Woods  lol !

          Hope all have a great week and a safe and Happy New Year , lets hope this year is better  and life can get back to some what normal  .

It Will Be A Quiet Christmas This Year

 I hope all are well and ready for Christmas . 

I know this year wont be the same for all of us as families cant get together this year but we can all just do our best and thanks to social media  we can all at least have face time and get creative with our family Christmas this year through that which can be fun.

We here at Woods Country Cove  are almost ready for our quiet Christmas , we have our indoor and outdoor decorations up and it looks very pretty and festive . Summer and Harley have their stockings up and ready for Santa paws .

 We have a total of three trees this year , two outside on the screened porch and one inside  , I  felt the need to do a little extra this year .

                                              Our snow has gone and it has been raining . 

 Above is our indoor tree and our Summer (aka) Summy is very interested in what this is all about as it is her first Christmas .

                                       And she is doing great at her Santa hat training 😃

I cant believe she is 7 months already and full of energy and spunk and keeps me on my toes lol . 

 It maybe a quiet Christmas for us with out family physically being here  but face time should be interesting and I will be cooking Papa and I a small turkey and ham this year with all the trimmings and have plenty of leftovers which Papa wont mind one bit for sandwiches and for me to make soups and stews   lol. We are lucky that  Papa  has been able to still go to work during these times and it will be nice to have him home over the holidays for two weeks as his company shuts down for the Christmas holidays . I am sure I can find plenty for him to do about the house lol .

                      Well that's about it for now for us , if I don't get a post out before Christmas

 Well hi there , hope all are well .

Welcome December 

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

We have had quite the wacky weather the past few days  as a storm rolled over us filled with all sorts ,first it was warm and rainy foggy and then temps dropped and sleet and snow then we had a clap or two of thunder then it settled for a bit then we woke up to our first real snow fall  and it is soo pretty , I do love the first good snow fall each time .

              I love taking photos of fresh fallen snow as it cradles every shape it falls on.

When Summy and I went out for her to do her business she was soo excited her being Husky she wanted to stay out and play in it and so did I but she is still recovering from her spaying so she has to be on leash and cant run about like a crazy dog in it just yet but soo she will be able to  probably by weeks end 😀

We finished our outside lights a few days before this storm hit as it was sunny and warm then , 

                         We toned down the lights at the front this year and it still looks pretty.

We decided to decorate our  newly build screened porch that  we built in the summer , it looks pretty and I love seeing the lights and trees light up at night  every time I look out our sliding door off of the kitchen .

I will be setting our indoor tree and decorations sometime this week. I cant wait to see the Christmas lights all lite up  with all the snow on them 😀.
