If you look carefully you can see the Downy woodpecker on the other side of the suit peeking

over the top as he is getting rained on .

A bit of everything fell out of the sky yesterday , sleet  ,snow and rain .

I love photographing rain drops  ok there isn't much I don’t love to photography

                                                                               where nature is concerned !

February 2014 (14 of 22)

Some birds were frantically feeding in the rain getting all they can before the others .

And then there were some birds that preferred to stay dry and wait it out !

Mr squirrel looked like a drowned rat !

February 2014 (22 of 22)

Still raining with snow mix and windy  this morning  temps are 2°C or 36°F very damp and it is making me ache but the good news is  they say it will clear up and sunshine for this after noon .

Maybe all this whacky weather is Spring trying to push through !

Until next time my friends !

Yes, Ma'am!!!!! Wacky weather here tooo!

This morning it is a general mess outside. But could have been worse. We could have gotten Ice Accumulation, and that is always worse. I so fear Ice Accumulation on tree limbs and power lines. But.... It's just wet and messy.

I love to photograph rain drops tooooooooooo! And you can even capture them falling! Go you!!! :-)

Thank you for your tour, this morning. We know what it's been like, in your neck of the woods.

Old Woman Winter is really grumbling...... And we know it! ,-)

And I know what you mean about aches and pains in our joints, etc.....

I had not yet heard about the messsss coming last night... But late afternoon, my ankles told me that something was coming.

Ahhhh yes, our personal weather reports. :-)

Just love how the cardinal pops right out of your photo with its vibrant colour on a dull day. It is absolutely pouring here today, no chance of sun at all. It's the perfect day to stay home and make a pot of soup :)

Hi there, Wow what wacky weather you had. I think folks everywhere are experiencing the same thing. Yesterday the winds were blowing so much, I thought I would blow over. It looked like snow last night but we didn't get any. Today is sunny and cold plus windy but I'm going to take Hunter out for a walk anyway.
Stay warm and dry! Love your pics.

Oh those poor squirrels. We had a lot of rain coming down this morning, and the squirrels looked like that here, too! I bet they - and all the critters - can't wait for spring to arrive. It's been such a hard winter for them.

That photo of Miggs is so cute! That's what I want to be doing all winter long --- snoozing it away! LOL...

Poor squirrel!

The storm started here last night with snow, changing to freezing rain and rain over night... there was rain this morning, but it let up around two. Late in the day we got a breakup in the clouds and some blue sky.

Miggs is such a cutie!

The rain was a nice change, and we got our car washed. It was much needed.

Spring is surely trying to arrive!! They say that a change is as good as a rest, so perhaps the snow was just having a rest! xx
