A Bit Of This N That

The weather has been cold  yet sunny starts to the mornings but by the time the afternoon rolls around the sun has warmed it up and is quite pleasant out .

It is nice to see and have more sunshine now !

                            February 2014 (1 of 4)

Not  much going on here just the usual , birdies feeding like crazy flapping all over the place , chirping and chit chatting , Miggs and I have been going for our walks enjoying the sunshine and the sounds and sights of nature .

Each day I have been playing around with my camera testing different settings and still learning ,

Like this photo through the window on a damp cold night as the moon shines

                                                                                 through hazy cloud !

February 2014 (5 of 8)-4

I do a lot of bird watching in our back yard and  valley with all of these books , binoculars and my camera  for guidance . I try to get outside as much as possible in the winters as there is so much to photograph especially when the seasons are close to changing so does the nature with it. I am soo waiting and looking forward  spring .

But for now I will just plod along enjoying the sights and sounds we have here now and take lots more photos of what ever catches my eye  and do   A Bit Of This N That !

                                                                         Until next time friends .

Got a minute to visit a few blogs this morning. :) You are getting a lot of birds at the feeders. It so nice to see them as they show up against the wintry backdrop. The longer days sure are nice! Enjoy the weekend.

We love to get out and enjoy winter too, and as long as you are dressed for it, it is a fantastic experience. The birds sure have been busy at the feeders, but we haven't noticed many nuthatches this year ... how about you?

A very nice selection of this and that :). There was a beautiful moon last night, a yellow globe of a thing but no photo as we were driving. Have a great weekend :)

Glad to "see" that your temps are warming up, Elaine. I also have a collection of bird ID books and binoculars. Belated Hearts Day wishes to you and Ken. I have the feeling that like Pat and myself, you celebrate every day together.

It makes such a change when you start to see the days getting longer doesn't it, nice to feel that the world is still turning, and that spring will come! xx
