Papa’s Wood Shop Live , Part 1

Papa has been busy in his wood shop all weekend building a project for one of his coworkers daughter who want’s a shelf or case to hold her Martial arts belts but could not find one anywhere  .

So Papa designed and blue printed  one and now is in the process of building it !

One of many projects in the wood shop

I love the sound of the power tools and the smell of the wood he uses . Depending on the project … he uses lots of different wood types  and grains . For this project he is using Oak !

Running a board through the planer

This machine above trims the board down to the thickness that is needed !

Using the scroll saw

This machine above the Scroll saw is what Papa uses to cut all kinds of designs with in his wood work !

Part 2 will be tomorrow .

It is 5pm and Papa has finished for the day . Like gardening wood working also makes you find muscles you didn’t know you had lol !

Until tomorrow when Papa’s Wood Shop Live returns   …  have a good day !

Oh, do those pictures ever bring back memories of my father in the work shop! He could build just about anything! I love the smell of wood! My hubby and I love watching birds and nature in general. So, happy you stopped by to visit. I'm following you back, and it's nice to 'meet' you, my Canadian neighbour! Would love to see your English china collection some time.

Blessings,
Sandi
