Hello everyone !
Papa and I have been puttering as we do most Sundays . Papa and I gathered around the fire pit earlier this morning burning some piece's of tree that had fallen off from the winds we had a while ago and Papa had lots of wood scraps from his wood shop to get rid of .
Then Papa cut the grass . His tractor is in for repairs so he borrowed his dad’s . I love the smell of wood smoke and fresh cut grass !
The weather today has been sunny with cloudy periods and cool breezes . A perfect day to putter outside !
Critters are enjoying the cooler weather munching away !
Miggs is being Miggs !
Bees are gobbling up what’s left of the seasons nectar from the flowers !
Our Red Bellied Woodpecker Charlie is teaching his youngster how to get food !
About 2pm not long ago from writing this post … darker clouds rolled in but nothing came of them so we continue to putter for the rest of the day !
Until next time , Hope your having a good Sunday !

I like your woodpeckers, we don't have any near our house. Growing up in Wisconsin there were a lot of woodpeckers and flickers in our neighborhood.
Hi Elaine... What a lovely day, you must be a true country girl...fresh cut green grass, and wood smoke awww!!
Glad to see is on guard : )

It does look a perfect Sunday! Glad you enjoyed it
HI Elaine Great to see the Woodpeckers.
We had a quiet Sunday as well and Grenville prepared a treat for dessert, which was wonderful. The woodpeckers are a colorful pair. There have been several blue jay young-uns around our feeders.
