After the Storm

From the other day after the storm we had  …. I had gone out and taken more video !

Hummer enjoying the nectar after a rain storm

I was hiding behind a tree when taking this little video of Hummy  . I don't think he knew I was there .

Then I went over to video our little Wrens .. I don't think they were to happy with me being so close to their house .

A little annoyed at me

Bringing food to the nest

I then stopped video and took still photos . Those I will post tomorrow !

The weather has been a mix of humidity and cool . Yesterday was very humid . Last night we had more rain and this morning  the air seems cooler and fresh with a nice breeze and sunshine popping out every now and then   but I feel it may get humid again as the day goes on !

Miggs and I went for our walk  this morning and I really should learn to take my camera as I spotted either a Crane or Heron landing in the bush by the river  DARN IT !! lol  I will try to go there on my own with camera in hand and hope to get photos of it over the weekend !

Until next time   …. Have a great day !

                                                Thanks for popping by !

Lovely little videos. I'm sure you will get another opportunity to see the heron and get some photos.
We had a terrific thunder and light show on Wednesday night and our family stayed up to watch it as they rarely see those sorts of storms on Vancouver Island.

I think I envy you the rain, but not the humidity...

Hi Loved the videos and yes you were too close for the birds comfort. I could hear the chicks in their house which was great. I can't believe you went out without your camera!!
