Yesterday evening as Papa and I were finished dinner and tidying away dishes and what not we heard a strange sound , almost like a remote control toy sound . Well to our surprise there was someone flying around in a home made ultralight plane which looks to have an engine no bigger then a lawn tractor if that . He was flying around our area . So of course we had to go out and see .
Papa took photos !
From the look of it there were two people on board . The pilot has his feet in the nose of the plane to control the rudders and passenger … well feet are dangling as you can see here !
At one point he could barely get this little air craft to lift enough to get over the huge trees we have in the area , so close I am sure the passenger touched the tree tops with their feet at one point or other !
We thought it was pretty cool and a bit dangerous but heck what’s life with out a bit of that sometimes lol !
He went over our house a few times quite low they could of stopped in for an after dinner cup of tea !
So this lasted for an hour or so and then back to the quiet of the evening and that was our after dinner entertainment ! Around here one just never knows what one will get up to for fun lol !

oh that would be scary too. We had aircrafts go over our place two weeks ago and Large helicopters. We now find out that it was soldiers in practice down the road taking off from a empty field. Yikes..
So like you say. You never know what flies in or over the place.

Now that's the kind of evening entertainment I would enjoy, as long as they were up there and I had my feet on the ground ;) Loved your comment on my blog. That must have been interesting to watch but I sure wouldn't want to be in one of those things .. my last flight from Holland to Toronto was my last flight, I swore ! KLM is a wonderful company .. I just never want to fly again.

I fell asleep but Mountain Man stayed awaked and was rewarded with a view ! He said it was a marvelous meteor shower .
I feel dizzy just looking at the pics!
It's threatening rain right now,but if it storms I'm staying away from the fireplace!
