Over The Weekend

This was a quiet yet fun weekend . Papa took Miggs for her walk as I was doing laundry and what not   then by mid afternoon we went over to his parents place who live next door lol for a lovely supper Saturday and visited with family that live farther away that we dont get to see very often as they came down and stayed there for the weekend , so we had a nice supper and a lot of laughs and catching up . Then yesterday Papa and I watched some movies as it was snowing out  and popped over again to his parents place and took Miggs this time  to chat and visit some more before we had to say our goodbyes .

Then we came home and watched more movies and puttered as it was still snowing  but with all that snow falling and the melt from the first snow fall last week with the warmer temps and rain we really have just a dusting .

I haven’t been getting out that much to take photos either  as not much has been happening here  over the

weekend out side !

It had been mostly cloudy over the weekend with the odd pop of sunshine .

The little Juncos have been busy under the cedar trees and feedrers .

JANUARY 2016 (1 of 15)

All the birdies seem to be quite cautious at the feeders more this year as there seems to be one feral large tom cat that lurks about the back 40 more and Miggs does what she can to keep him away from the birdies.

Well that’s it for me  like I said it had been  a quiet weekend . I see the sun beginning to rise now in the south east  all though the clouds are still hanging about so we may get some sun time  . The temps here are bitterly cold  -11°C feels like –18 °C or   12°F  feels like –2 BRR !  the kind of cold that when you walk out the door it takes your breath away  and it has that bite to it .

I also would like to thank all of you for popping by and visiting our blog  and leaving lovely comments. I have been blogging since May 2010 and have loved it all from the get go . I may not always leave comments on your blogs but I do read them all and believe me I follow a lot of you as each and every one is so fun and interesting and I have enjoyed making so many wonderful blogger friends over the years as well .  I have published 1486 posts and probably more as each time you revamp your blog template which I like to change things up a bit every now and then  the post count  changes and starts all over again so  maybe more posts then have been published   but I have had  13,936 comments you all rock  and 190,862 page reviews not including my own as I tuned that off years ago lol   so thank you to you all for your  support and joining us here in our neck of the  Woods Country Cove  .

                                                                                    Until next time .

We don't have as many birds now that Smokey lives here. He is mostly an outside cat. He goes to the door and wants to go out. Cats do scare the birds away. I enjoy your blog!

I'm glad that you had a good weekend, although it sounds incredibly cold in your part of the world! We had a little snow this weekend, but nothing like as cold as your weather - for which I am grateful! Hope that you stay warm and keep having fun! xx

Cats are such a nuisance to birds but good that Miggs in on the case!
