AFTER THE SNOW STORM !

Feww, we made it. The snow storm was pretty bad last night, lots of high winds blowing snow some sleet and freezing rain basically a bit of everything. When we woke this morning at 6am it was still windy and snowing . Papa booked the day off awhile ago as one of his vacation days  good thing cause a lot of the roads here are closed. Papa and I went out to shovel and plough the snow but the snow was so heavy that Papa’s tractor just couldn't push the snow , so Papa’s Dad came over and used his tractor with the snow blower on it and did it for him ,they alternate at times with ploughing and snow blowing each others driveways depending on the type of snow that is on the driveways . I on the other hand couldn't shovel because my knee is still  a bit tender and the last thing I need is to  twist it again so I just swept the steps in the front and back of the house and of course took photos. When the guys were clearing the drive it was still windy, but now it is all calm before we get another dumping of snow later today.

Some think it's fun to plow snow. But when they don't have a warm cab to sit in, it's a cold cold job! Hope you're done getting snow from this storm. Stay warm. jo

Great pictures, makes me want a cup of hot chocolate! I've been watching the weather and thinking about all of you who have been hit with this storm. Where I live (Washington State) it's been clear and cool. Makes me feel kinda guilty. Keep warm and safe!

Here in south Tx, our high today was 34. We are more adapted to those 90 plus degree summer days with 90 % humidity. This cold stuff is hard for us! I can't imagine having to deal with that much snow!
Blessings,
Lorilee

Hi... We are now getting the same storm here in N.B. although, no wind....
They don't know where they are going to put the snow in the cities since we have had a big storm every week lately..
Oh, well that is Canada, eh?
Blessings..

Looking at the photos really made me cold, Elaine, and that took some doing as the temp this afternoon reached a balmy 68 degrees with not a snowflake or icicle in sight.
