Update On Miggy

First we would like to thank all  of you for your kind words and support of our Miggy whom we found out has Kennel cough . Kennel cough can be dangerous to our dogs if not treated it can result in respiratory  problems  , disease and possibly death !

Miggy is doing much better today,  she had a bit of a coughing spell first thing this morning but the fog horn sound has lessened its not so harsh . She is fine now and settled after she had her first dose of meds for the day and went out to do her business , she gets meds three times a day with a bit of food.

I really think we caught it in time before the virus had any time to really set in . Miggy will be in full swing in no time and being the camera bug that she is for me running, playing  and going for our walks again.

Until next time hope you all have a great day!

Hi Elaine...I am so glad you found out in time what Miggy's problem is!
I read yesterdays post ,that must have been scary...she is so darn cute can't have anything happen to her : }}} Our pets are like having kids at home!!
I had a little dog that look very much like Miggy who ate bird suet that had fallen to the ground and I found her on my bed limp as can be, and she had vomited..non responsive rushed her to the vet...!!
The suet clogges the arties, and if she hadn't vomited she would have died...a shot of some kind and something to thin the blood, and she lived 10 more years!!
So watch the suet...
I have a sore throat and a bad cough...maybe I should go see the vet..; }!!
Have a good weekend
Grace
