It Was A Beautiful Day

The day started out with thick fog then the sun was able to burn off the fog in the late morning and it ended up a summer like day with blue sky's warm temps and lots of sunshine. Papa and I did some yard work and had a bon fire  . Papa had lots of scrap wood in his work shop so we added that to the fire . The summer like weather with the sounds of the birds chatting and singing away the smell of the bon fire the sound of  Chainsaws , dad next door was building a fence , Papa  working in his work shop , lawn tractors getting their tune ups and ready for the summer . Sounds I love to hear  !

In all the photos Papa had a beard  Not any more , he shaved it off in the evening  . I think he looks younger with out the beard but I like either with or with out .

We had a wonderful day yesterday I even got a little sun on my face . Today is to be mainly cloudy and showers , that's ok cause it is a rest day for us !

Until next time hope you all have a great day !

Sounds like a great day outside. We tend to be cooped up all winter and to get outside in the spring is a relief.

I love your header picture!! I also am so glad to hear that Miggy is past the kennel cough!! Your fire really looks inviting--I'd have to have some marshmallows for s'mores!! :-)

Sounds like a perfect spring day. Papa was wise to shave off the beard. Studies show--women prefer beardless men!!! It was just in the paper this weekend!!

So happy that Miggy is all better! We've been burning brush here quite a bit. Had to cut down/trim a few trees here. Some were dangerously close to the house. Didn't want trees coming through our roof in a strong wind!
My husband has had a beard since before I met him almost 30 years ago. I have never seen him without it! I don't know if I would recognize him. :-)

Great day! I love all your photos, but my most favorite thing is getting to see Miggy in most of them.

Nothing like working in the yard to make you feel good.

So pleased Miggy is healed.
