I had a good question asked from one of my newer followers who hasn’t seen some of Papa’s wood works. The Dutch barn that we just had built is his wood work shop. Papa does anything from scrolling to making furniture. This is just one of his passionate hobby's. He hasn't had much room in the past so we decided to get this shop built for him to give him all the room he needs. He is going to be picking up a few large machines in the next week to add to his wood working tools. So I will now get all kinds of wonderful things built for me and believe me I already have all the plans on paper lol He is going to be a busy little beaver haha get it, wood , beaver, I know , I know bad joke ,but our last name is Wood so that says something lol.
Here are photos of just a few of his small projects .
Papa made this Nativity for our Aunt at Christmas.
Papa has a blog that he features his finished work on, he hasn’t been able to do much as he didn't have the room till now Papa’s blog http://viennacountrycoveworkshop.blogspot.com
Miggy is doing great all are happy she is home. She is walking on her leg more and more. We still have to keep the head cone on to let the sore heal up 100% and I have to apply skin generating cream to it 3 times a day.
Until next time my blogger buddies, hope you all have a great day !

Sooo happy Miggy is home!... your hubby's woodwork is gorgeous!... xoxo Julie Marie
Thank you for the link to his blog. When I go to craft shows I enjoy looking at everything but I am drawn to the woodworkers. I appreciate their talent but also the connection they have to each piece.
Happy to hear Miggy is getting better.
What lovely work! The workshop looks wonderful too . Glad Migy is home, I know you missed her

Such lovely and skilled work.. We did wood crafts for over 20 years...
I am glad Miggy is doing so well.
Have a great wee, Elaine...
Blessings..
Thanks for the info on what Papa will be doing in his new workshop, Elaine. I didn't read back far enough on your blog. Grenville also enjoys working in wood and uses a small lathe for wood turnings - wine bottle stoppers, small bowls, sandle holders, and what he calls dust collectors. Right now he's busy with the garden projects so wood turning has been put aside for awhile.
