I am sooo tired. We had really bad thunderstorms last night, I say storms cause there was one after another with lots of bad lightning and really loud crashes and cracks of thunder, torrential rains and high winds. I am not much of a sleeper anyways have had troubles staying asleep for years even on sleeping pills but with the storms being as bad as it was last night I was awake from 12:30 am when the storms started till 4:30 am when they finally stopped 
and was up at 6 am with Papa to see him off to work. The hydro kept clicking on and off a few times then finally went off for a few hours but do ya think I could sleep in the pitch black , not a chance, the thunder was so loud and the lightning was soo bright and sounded like it could get worse I just couldn't close my eyes and ignore it at all. Miggy doesn’t pay much attention to storms but last night she was restless cause I was restless, as for Papa he can sleep through anything and usually does lol or if he wakes he can go back to sleep no problem. So needless to say I am barely getting this typed with out spell check lol cause I am soo tired and I always read other blogs after I have posted but as the saying goes with us ,my eyes are like too pee holes in the snow and there's no way I can read anything right now lol . Miggy and I are just kipping on and off today to make up for our sleepless stormy night as it is another rainy day today, a day to maybe stay in my PJ’S and have nice soothing tea , as I don't have anything that needs to be done right away !

We are having storms as I type, suppose to last on and off all day long. Glad you and Miggy are safe.
We had tornados whirling all around us last night from 9:00 to 10:45 and that was scary.
Sounds like a great way to spend the day and catch up on some sleep. Have a restful day. :)
We had bad storms here to...I know what you mean about not being able to sleep....and then about the time I would relax and start to drift off the weather radio would go off!

I hate it when I can't sleep. It makes for an extremely rough day at school with 20 four-year-olds! I don't want Storms, but we sure could use some rain. We are having a super dry spring so far here in South Texas. We have already hit 90 degrees here, and it isn't even summer!
