For all you campers out there you know what I mean . You wake up in the early mornings with a cuppa tea our choice first thing or coffee in hand with over cast sky’s ,fresh cool breezes after a night of rain , which we so badly needed , with the leaves rustling about in the breezes dropping rain drops off of them , the fresh smell of rain ,grasses and flowers in the air , all the birds happily singing in the trees and bushes , the smell of wood smoke in the air from camp fires and yet we are not camping we are at home in our valley with all this like we are camping . I call it Cove camping here with the wonderful feel and smell and sights of camping only with in the luxury of our home , perfect !
Friday was sunny and cooler to as Miggs spent some time with her cousin Shadow as she was over here for a while .
Miggs is enjoying the coolness even more so today as she went to have her spay day yesterday and got all that thick heavy coat taken off cleaned up and had her nails and ears cleaned to , it was busy at the groomers when we went to pick her up and Miggs was the only one that wasn't in a cage as our groomer Lynn said she stays sitting on the table and helps calm the other dogs down Lynn also said Miggs is the only one who is happy about being there as we have seen her go in and heads straight up on to the table or in the tub for her bath lol. Lynn says she so enjoys having Miggs there as she is such a calm and wonderful girl , we all know that now don't we lol !
Her cousin Shadow came over again yesterday to after we got back from the groomers , I wonder what Shadow thought of Miggs new do lol !
Yes Miggs is lumpy , she has fatty deposits under he skin witch is normal for lots of dogs to have they are all ok as we have had them all checked by the vet but when she is shaved they really stand out but she is still our pretty girl only lumpy lol !
She really looks like a different dog when shaved .
All cool clean and fresh smelling for now lol !
I see we have another chipmunk hanging out with Alvin , don't know if this is a sibling or a possible Mrs Alvin but I had fun watching them play about in our big tree and run from one feeder to the other in the grass with only a tail showing as the bounce and bounce and run through the grass lol !
When there is the two of them they don't let me get that close to take their photos but if it is just Alvin he seems to not mind me being close with my camera .
Well that's about all I have for now , time to get going with indoor stuff as the weather is an on off rainy one with possible thunderstorms later even may be the odd pop of sunshine they say .

Miggs will be feeling so much better now she has her new do for summer. Thank goodness for the rain overnight and this morning. I love listening to it come down on the gazebo, the roof, the ground. Have all the windows open, where possible, and letting the fresh sound and air in. Enjoy Sunday.
Good description of your camping type of morning. But definitely coffee for me -- within about 5 minutes after waking. It's pouring here after a rather droughtish month or more.
The 2 dogs look great together and they look the best of friends. Like book ends.
I love the photo of Miggs and Shadow laying on the patio chilling. Cute pic of the chipmunks. We rarely see them in our yard as it's too open. Have a great week Elaine.
Migg's seems to love "camping" with her cousin Shadow - They are perfect bookends!! And lumps or not, she looks great, and no doubt much, much cooler!!
