Well !

We are buried in snow again !!!

Got hit by a big snow storm all day yesterday and it was wild , high winds snow flying sideways and every which way , white outs you name it and all as we were thinking spring was on it’s way by the warm temps , grass patches showing more spring birds returning ,  then WHAM !!!  old man winter terrorises us once again BLAH !! Hope this is the last blast of winter now and old man winter is out of not hot air but cold air lol !

The sun is rising and with a bit of luck it will be warm enough to melt the snow and we will start all over again only this time spring will arrive for good !  I have noticed the sun rises now more  in the east  as each day it rises earlier it moves it’s position closer to the north east  .

I took photos of yesterday any ways for my archives as I like to keep track of the weather patterns each year and the birds !

                                                                                        Photo heavy !

This morning the birds are happily singing and feasting  the sun is rising and now I have to get going to get the feeders swept off paths and patio  shovelled  !

Lets just hope that from now on spring is truly just around the corner !

Until next time my friends !

I'm so tired of these stormy days aren't you? It's still a blizzard here and I'm wondering when it will let up. Glad I don't have to go anywhere!! Have a great day there!

One more storm closer to spring!! That's the way I'm trying to look at it... We got about 11/2 feet last night and into the morning UGGG The birds were a little put out cuz hubby was out snow blowing and it put their feeding time late..He wasn't done long when the cardinals and all their friends were out feeding. Our black lab,Onyx looked like a white lab as he followed me around while i was "moving" the snow..I bet Miggs and Onyx would have fun playing together in this snow. Take Care and be assured that I won't see patches of grass for MONTHS!!!

Ugh, you poor things...

We don't have the snow, but the ground is frozen again...and I can no longer rake the dirt. Now who thought that would be a good idea?

I do hope this is the last shout of Old Man Winter for you! Miggs looks great in the snow, but I bet a nice piece of grass would be more welcome xx

We didn't get any snow, just some rain and a lot of winds, all night long and all day today. And, if we had gotten snow there would have been nightly high drifts for sure. The birds will be glad you are filling the feeders, Elaine.

Hi there, I'm sorry that the snow returned! WE are do for some more this weekend but meanwhile I've been walking and rode my bike the other day-it feels so wonderful.
Hugs,
