To Be Or Not To Be

                                              Spring that is !

The last week and a half has been wonderful mild and sunny with a lot of signs of spring !

MARCH 2014 (3 of 13)-2

Let’s see … The Cedar Waxwings have returned and pop by here from time to time to feast on berries , other spring  birds have arrived Robins and Eastern Blue birds and are all singing the spring praises  and both birds and critters are friskily chasing each other around .  The snow has been melting into interesting puddles .

Grass is showing and thawing and underneath making it a sloppy muddy mess for Miggs  !

After we go for our walks , feed the birdies and play in the yard , I spend a bit of time each day spring cleaning in doors .

My Cacti and Geraniums are blooming as the sun has been shining on them every day with it’s spring like warmth !

And all though foggy at times in the mornings as the temps are warm and melting snow causes moister in the air the sun rises with a different scenery every day over the valley !.

MARCH 2014 (8 of 13)-2

March is a tricky month , it teases you with spring like weather making all so hopeful like me who has been eagerly waiting to get this harsh  and nasty winter which by the way has been the worst in 20 years OVER! with . March fools you into thinking winter is over , never mind April fools day  this month should be called March fools month lol

Then why are we getting hit with a big snow storm tonight and into tomorrow ? I will tell you why , cause March is a trickery foolery month always has been !

I hope this snow storm is weak and it dissipates before it gets here , I know the earth is warmer now from all the melt  warm temps and sunshine and that hopefully any snow that falls on it melts instantly .

Because whether It Is To Be Or Not To Be this month, I know spring will push old man winter out for good soon !

Until next time my friends .

It teases you Spring. Nice two days and now for us. A winter storm coming. So we have to make due from day to day when we get those nice mild days and roads melted. Like yesterday pretty good on the roads to drive.

Yesterday was a Spring coat wear to town.

Not sunny but we did not need car heater on.

Enjoy your day!

You are right, March can be a tricky month. Glad to hear you're experiencing a warming trend. Winter has worn out its welcome!!!

You sure had a nice tease of spring there! The only tease we had was lots of sunshine and a couple of days with +3 temperatures. That's it. There is so much snow on the ground from February's blizzards and it has snowed all day today even before the big blizzard that is coming tomorrow night. It will be a flood season for sure. I hope you fare better than the Maritimes over the next few days!

HI Elaine Love this post and that shot of Miggs is gorgeous. I am not surprises he does not like the mud under foot but hopefully spring will be with you very soon.

I wish for you warm days and green grass.

Yes, spring is like a wolf in sheeps clothing. I was always advised by an elderly neighbour that I should never plant anything out until May 1st. I still keep to her rule... sort of! I hope the storm is kind to you. xx

I spy a little green grass behind Miggs in the photo of her, so that says to me that spring is definitely trying very very hard to come and to stay! Hope that the storm rushes on by and doesn't stoop in any case any problems. xx

It's the muddy mess side of things I don't like!

We get some thawing during the day when things creep up above freezing... but then it snows during the night.
