This & That

The sun has been rising every morning  , all though it’s been cold in the mornings  we have had sunshine every day so far this week and I love it . By the time noon rolls  around the temps rise with the heat of the sun  and it is quite pleasant outside  ! .

MARCH 2014 (4 of 4)

It has been pretty quiet here well inside it has lol out in the yard it is quite noisy with all the birdies and critters chasing each other around and eating us out of house and home , I fill the feeders every other day now and that’s 5 feeders a day  . I have noticed that the Juncos who normally ground feed are getting pretty smart and some have figured out hoe to hang on and  collect feed from the feeders  .

After the sun had set and Miggs was fast asleep on her couch after a long day of fresh air and having her supper , I saw this bunny way over in the back of the yard nibbling on the seed on the ground .

After Miggs and I go for our  morning walks and I once again fill the feeders lol   I then come in by the mid morning and sit at my kitchen table with my lap top watch the birds outside  the sliding patio doors and kitchen window to the right MARCH 2014 (2 of 11)MARCH 2014 (6 of 11) staying cozy by the fire drinking my cup of  mid morning coffee  ,  tea is any other time of the day  lol   reading all sorts of wonderful blogs  so I can keep up with what’s going on in you neck of the woods . I post  from my PC in the computer room in the mornings  , load and do my photos on that computer  .

Your home looks so cozy with the wood fire in the corner. I also blog from my dining table where the large dining room window overlooks the back yard and I can keep tabs on the birds. :) I used to blog on hubby's computer in his office downstairs but I prefer being up here so I can also do housework and cook. I'm a multi-tasker by times. LOL Have a great day!

-clapping hands- I love to see where bloggers blog, as it were. Thank you.

Oh how lucky you are, to get good views of both sun rise and sun set. I have whined about how we don't, here. -sigh- I have to "pick out" a bit of sunrise, through trees... And the same, with sun set. Oh well. :-)

I love the looks of your warm, cozy spot, where you can watch the birds, and read blogs, and have coffee. Love it!

What with the impending time change and the sun moving closer to the equator, we will have light until 7PM in a few days.

The Lee Valley owner lives just north of us in or near a little place called Almonte. Not that we know him but we know people who do.

Oh Elaine....I loved this post! One of my favorite things is reading how other bloggers live their lives day by day. What beautiful photos of places in your home. The third photo is my favorite....the sun shining in, the dog standing at the door, the lamp on the table....sigh...
loved it all! Thanks for sharing...:)

We are warming up but still lots of ice and snow to melt.
You ask about the black birds.
We have red wings, common grackles, cow birds and the brewer's black bird the one with iridescent green or purple. At sun set there are thousands that fly over going to nest in the woods. This year is the most we have see in the five years we have been here.

What lovely, cozy and inviting photos of your world! I've been noticing how warm the sun is feeling, even though our temps say anything but spring--And I also saw my first rabbit in months this evening, another sign that perhaps that winter is leaving... I hope!
