It Was A Lovely Day

Yesterday was another lovely day . Blue sky’s,  not a cloud in sight , sunshine , calm winds  and warm temps . It was wonderful .

MARCH 2014 (16 of 18)

Miggs and I went for a long walk and played in the yard for quite some time .  I came in mid morning to give the house a lick and promise of house cleaning as I did that already earlier in the week then had lunch and went back out side for most of the afternoon .

                    MARCH 2014 (2 of 18)

It was soo nice out that  Miggs was snoring on her swing on the patio !

So I went around and took photos !

The moon in the east in the middle of the day !

MARCH 2014 (4 of 18)

This is our noisy Crow George , He sits in the trees and squawks at every one lol !

MARCH 2014 (10 of 18)

High at the top of our birch tree this beautiful male Cardinal was singing his heart out so loud and proud as it echoed through the air !

Notice the seeds on the birch tree ? Spring is on it’s way !!

MARCH 2014 (7 of 18)

Miggs woke up from her nice nap and needed to cool off in the snow we have left in the yard  which is still more then I would like lol but it is withering away bit by bit and more grass patches are showing !

I passed the patio doors as I was searching for things to photograph as I always do and saw my reflection and thought  HMM !!!  Wonder if I can get a photo of a reflection of a reflection !  So I gave it a try !

MARCH 2014 (18 of 18)                             And there you have it a reflection of the inside and the outside all at the same time , look closely .

A  reflection of a reflection !

Today it is mild but cloudy , damp and foggy as all the moister from the melting snow rises to the sky looks like the sun is trying it’s best to make an appearance though ! .  Miggs and I went for our walk early this morning  and am now  doing laundry.  Papa and I are just doing our usual weekend puttering .

I received a lovely gift and card in the mail from  a wonderful  fellow Canadian blogger  Judith from  Lavender Cottage

Thank you  Judith I love them !

Until next time my friends !

I'm "olden" and I like the Old Ways. I like Nature's Time. Time, by the movement of the sun.

Grumble, grumble, grumble...

Great photo of the reflection of a reflection!! Look at you with temperatures above freezing! It must feel like the Caribbean after all these months. xx

It sounds like you made the best use of a gorgeous day. Miggs certainly seemed to enjoy it.

Well done on the reflection photo!

These past couple of days have been wonderful ... gives up hope that spring is coming. The sun is out now after a dull start to the day. We can stand on the deck and feel a tiny bit of warmth. Hope it stays this way.

Miggs looks utterly relaxed on her couch!

Here we're below the freezing mark, so the Canal remains open for skaters.
