When ever I am in the kitchen preparing food I have a prep buddy or two watching every move I make and I am usually tripping over one of them , mainly Miggy , as she stays very close to the area I prep in lol !
Last night I was making one of Papas favourites , egg salad sandwiches for Papas lunch for work and these two come wondering in to see what's going on in the kitchen , before I knew it there was one on one side and one on the other side of the kitchen . Miggy laying quietly waiting for something to drop to the floor and Harley purring and chatting away , yes our cat chats to you when in the kitchen , she has a different meow and purr combination as though she is actually telling me a story and that's all I have to say to her is tell me a story Harley and off with the purr chat she goes , one day I will have to record it , its quite cleaver !
Earlier in the day Miggy and I were out side as usual , cause we love the out doors watching the birds and critters ! I caught a glimpse of two birds I haven’t seen here before and now my challenge is to photograph them to see if I can identify them ! That could take a while as they are small and skittish ! Oh well I am always up for a photo opp challenge !

Well that was pretty much my day yesterday simply taking photos , pretty much every day for me here not complaining in the least as long as I have camera in hand I am as happy as a lark , or pig in poop or ,,,,, well you get the idea !

The most ordinary of days are sometimes the best of days!!
We have kitchen helpers, too. Two large Labs take up quite a bit of space at our feet. We give them a spot just out of the way in the butler's pantry, but they quietly move back underfoot waiting for something to drop. ;)

Always nice to have company isn't it? These two helpers look like they are just lying in wait for something to drop or be given to them. Glad to read a couple of previous posts about the rain you got. Our weather is still hot and humid with not much rain in recent days. Not much fall color as yet, but soon.
