As in yesterdays post we had some nice rain . It cleared up just as the sun was setting and shining its beautiful orangey glow on everything ! The air was cool and fresh so I decided to go out and take a few photos . I noticed that some of the trees are changing , some more then others and leaves are falling !
This photo above is the top of our valley forest that has a lovely river running through it . We live on a small hill so I get to see this beautiful scenery every day from my front porch , kitchen and living room windows !
When all these trees have changed to red , yellow and orange it is amazing !
This photo below is from last year at this time as the sun sets on the top of the valley forest . I can’t resist taking photos of it every year no matter what the season is as the forest slightly changes every year !
This time last September we were having frost but this year we are having an Indian summer , hot and humid during the day , cool and fresh in the mornings and at night !
I see houses here are slowly being decorated for Fall / Autumn and harvest is just beginning as it is just around the corner .The First Day of Autumn (Autumnal Equinox) is on Saturday, September 22, 2012.
Until next time hope you have a great day !

We had rain yesterday too. Very refreshing. I am seeing leaves falling too, but no noticeable changing of the trees in our woods. Soon though, I'm sure!
We have a couple leaves changing color, but not whole trees yet, and we have had frost down in the river valley, but not up top yet, but I am sure its not too far away now.
You are getting lovely color already! We have only just started with the leaves turning
Thanks for all your blog photos...I feel like your family has become part of mine. Great fall foliage to get me in the mood!
Wow! That's so pretty! I love the rain, but I also love times like these, when the rain has passed and the world just looks beautiful!
Lovely images of the beginning of Fall. We look forward to the cooler weather, too.
Wow, your trees are ahead of ours here in Tennessee, every once in awhile, I see a yellow leaf, others just seem to hang tough.
The photo with the Autumn colors, simply gorgeous :)
