Miggy’s First Visit
To the doggie spa lol . Today we had to go in to the city to take Miggy for a day at the spa. We took her to Pet Smart . It was her very first time going to the spa as we usually gave her a bath , trimmed her fur ,clipped her claws and groomed her but this time she needed it done properly. Pet Smart is her favourite store she gets to see other dogs and sniff everything in the store and see all kinds of people she just loves that. She got the full treatment, Fur trimmed, nails trimmed and filed,teeth cleaned and bathed with an Oatmeal shampoo to keep her fur shiny and her skin moisturized. She was soo happy to go in the back with her beautician, then Papa and I went and did some shopping in the city as it took about 3 hours for her at the doggie spa being a pampered pooch. Well they all just loved her she did really well sat good for them and never made a fuss except when they trimmed her fur around her face , that's cause she is soo nosey and she wants to see and sniff everything they are using also cause they are blocking her view from seeing stuff lol like other dogs and what not.
When we picked her up she was pumped sooo excited to see us and she looked great all cleaned up no more tats and raggedy scruffy dog and she smells wonderful and feels soo soft like she did when she was a pup , she had a ball there.

She looks like a different dog and of course she had to roll on the grass as soon as she got out of the van when we got home but at least now she doesn't drag all kinds of leaves and things in on her fur not like she did when she was all shaggy and scruffy ! She will always be our pretty girl shaggy or not !

Jack Frost

I woke up at 8 am, that's ok must of needed the sleep, went down stairs only to realise there is Frost all over outside and the sun is just starting to rise so with out further hesitation I put my rubber boots on with my little slippers on still, threw my lumber jacket on grabbed my Little gloves and my camera and off I went in my pink sheep Jammie’s still half asleep, thank god we live in the country lol

The air was fresh and crisp as you can tell ,the birds were singing ,nature sounds of happy, sounds of the odd airplane echoing in the cold crisp sky air , Miggy was running around and I taking photos all as the Sun was rising over Our Country Cove, nothing better then this.

Burning Bush & Burning Wood
The weather has been cold rainy and down right YUK ! I thought it was going to be a nice day yesterday as the morning looked promising all sunny and fresh. Miggy and I were able to get our walk in but after that it all fell a part , Rainy and gloomy . I decided to take photos of Papa’s Burning Bush the colour is soo pretty they call it a Burning Bush cause it is green all summer then come fall it changes to this vibrant red and almost looks like its on fire hence the name Burning Bush .
It hasn't fully changed yet !

It started to rain harder and harder as I was out taking these photos so I had to come in and it was chilly and damp so I decided to make a fire and take photos with my Macro lens of the flames dancing.
I set my camera on to continues shots , the flames actually dance around in each of these shots ! Each flame became different as it performed.

Have you ever just sat and watched the flames of a fire dance and change, its almost like they are performing in a Ballet.

Fall Weekend At Country Cove
Miggy Playing In The leaves
part 2
The weekends weather was soo nice sunny fresh and warm. Papa and I did mostly yard and garden work preparing it all for the colder months .
Papa had just finished cutting the grass for the last time this season and then raked up what leaves were left. Miggy just loves jumping and playing in the pile of leaves so her and Papa played a game.

Fall Weekend At Country Cove
part 1
Most of the trees here are bare now. Papa and I were out side yesterday whilst the sun was shining and the air was fresh tending to our gardens cleaning them up from the summer preparing them for the winter months.
I spotted this little guy on the feeder most of the fall and winter birds are back now that the weather is getting cooler.
A Downey Woodpecker .
A hungry one by the looks of it, he was going crazy on the feeder !
Today was another beautiful sunny fresh day .Papa cut the grass for the last time this season and raked the leaves , well Papa raked the leaves and Miggy, well she kind of played in them lol I have photos of Miggy playing in the leaves I will post them tomorrow.
Our Country Cove has reached 100 followers , WOOOHOOO ! I have only been blogging since May of 2010 and enjoy it quite a lot and also enjoy reading and following other blogs. We would like to thank you all for following and being a part of Our Country Cove family !

A Bit Of A Tuff Day Yesterday
Yesterdays weather was rainy, windy and cold. Papa and I had to go to the Doctor's for our yearly check-up not a thrill that lol. I had a tuff time sleeping Wed night and was up from 1am all day till about 10:30 last night for the life of me my body wouldn't go to sleep. I don't sleep much some weeks and it is frustrating cause lack of sleep is not good makes your body and immune system week and susceptible to all kinds of illness been there done that live with IBS and Chronic pain. I have tried every type of prescribed sleeping pills even tranquilizers in the past and none kept me asleep but this time I think we hit the nail on the head ! Got a brand new type that's better and has no side affects other then a yucky taste in the mouth in the morn.
So I spent most of yesterday wandering around like a zombie lol But today I am some what rested and have a bit more energy !

First time an Eastern Blue bird has visited our yard and there are two of them !
I was soo happy to get a photo of this pretty little bird a first for me !
Todays weather is gloomy with rain on and off but the weekends weather is to be sunny so I will continue with my gardens cleaning them out and Papa well he will be in his wood work shop finishing up some touches to projects.
