One Of Those Days

Damp,  gloomy and very windy here today . Guess after all our sunny warm weather I cant complain at least we don't have snow yet thank goodness .

Miggs and I came back from a nice walk as the rains held off for a bit ,  all though we were blown all about lol . We came in and Miggs decided to snuggle down with Harley for a bit .

NOVEMBER 2015 (3 of 12)

Harley’s facial  expression  was none to impressed but I did remind her that she is on Miggs bed . Miggs gives a look as if to YEAH ! sis my bed .

NOVEMBER 2015 (4 of 12)

That lasted for about 10 minuets  then Miggs wanted to go out side again so off she went out side and Harley went up to her own bed in the spare bedroom .

NOVEMBER 2015 (6 of 12)

Miggs was  on her swing under the  back porch staying dry and cozy , she so prefers to be out side even if it is a bit rainy and windy and watch the yard .

NOVEMBER 2015 (7 of 12)

I have never known any dog that actually likes to swing as they sleep but Miggs does as the wind gently moves the swing lol !

I was getting my mid morning cup of coffee tea is first thing for me and I saw how pretty my Christmas Cactus looked all red and white and in full bloom  ,never fails they are always in full bloom this time of year  these plants are fairly old but always make me smile with their pretty dainty flowers and colours .

NOVEMBER 2015 (8 of 12)

Since I mentioned  Christmas here, are you all ready for it yet? I’m not , I don't even think about Christmas till at least a week or two before .

NOVEMBER 2015 (11 of 12)

They are an odd looking flower but very interesting to .

So not much going on here today on this gloomy , wet very windy day . I  will just putter inside today , maybe watch a movie , catch up on blogs or who knows , I always find something to get up to   lol . I just looked at the weather net work and   there is a weather Statement in place for very high winds later , winds are to gust up to 90 km/h  or 56 mph ,  hang on to your hats people and try not to be taken away like Mary Poppins with your umbrella's either  lol !  This old farm house will be a creaking and a cracking later with the winds blowing that hard  . Hope the power stays on  fingers and toes crossed lol !

                                                                           Until next time

Looks like Miggs and Harley really know how to snuggle. Very cool, windy and overcast here in our beautiful Okanagan..we have been so spoilt with such amazing summertime and fall weather..have a wonderful weekend. :)

You take such great photos of your pets. I noticed my Christmas cactus is blooming too. I didn't water it for weeks and the buds started coming so I gave it a shot of H2O to boost it along. Cloudy and chilly here with rain on the way. Have a cozy afternoon.

I love that second picture of Miggs and Harley, and Miggs in the swing. He is such a sweetie pie. I could just hug him. We finally got through our 9 days of rain and clouds and I am really enjoying the sun again.

They're such a cute pair. I guess if the swing is gently rocking, Miggs doesn't mind.

We're getting that damp day today. Better now than yesterday when all the vets were out for ceremonies.

Sounds a lot like here. Dark wet and gloomy. Our sog likes to be outside too, and just huddles in the porch if it's raining. And our Christmas Cactus is also just starting to bloom!

It looks like we have another 12 hours of rain coming up. But I am warm and dry.

damp and gloomy here too ... and really windy. We actually took the Canada flag and front house flag down as they were whipping around so much. Areas around us lost their hydro, so we were lucky. My Christmas cactus isn't blooming yet, they are the only flowering houseplant that I have. It looks the same weather for today, Friday, going to look after the grandkids this afternoon as hubby and their parents are going to the movies to see James Bond. Not my cup of tea :)

Miggs looks so cute on the swing. I hate gloomy days too and we have had a few lately.

We're past those gloomy days and have sunshine this morning. Looks like Miggs is longing for nice weather to continue so he can still frolic outside.
I've never had luck with Christmas cactus so stick with poinsettias. I pulled out the winter decor but there isn't much that actually represents Christmas. My husband isn't in to the festivities and hates when I play Christmas music from now until the 25th.
