The weather the past few days has been rainy and very windy and we finally have sunshine this morning all though yesterday wasn't rainy just cold and cloudy and the sun showed up just before it set , that was nice .
Friday morning Miggs was laying on her bed out side for a bit and this is what I saw .
The winds were blowing a bit early in the morning and came under the porch and scooped Miggs bed up as she was sleeping in it .
Silly dog she actually stayed in it for quite some time lol !
Miggs and I had been going for our walks regardless of the weather and went for our walk yesterday to as the winds are finally calm and then I tidied up all the sticks and twigs that blew off of the trees in that nasty wind storm .
Papa was in the house busy with other stuff and he had seen me and grabbed his camera and snapped some photos of me with out me knowing . Cheeky bugger lol !
Reminds me of this rhyme when I was kid . one two buckle my shoe , three four shut the door , five six pick up sticks which that is was I was doing , seven eight don't be late , nine ten begin again lol .
Then Papa knocked on the window and it caught my attention .
I then looked up and there you have it thumbs up from Papa cause he got my pictures with out me knowing . Again cheeky bugger lol he knows I don't like my photo taken I am always the one behind the camera lol !
After I was done tidying up the sticks I filled the birdie feeders then came in and did laundry as it was getting colder out and there was nothing left to be done out side .
This morning the sun is shining the temps are pleasant 10C or 50F so Miggs and I will be going for our walk soon , my Cactuses are in full bloom as are my African Violets that are spread through out the living room . It is nice to have blooms in doors this time of year .
Well that’s about it nothing really that thrilling going on but I just wanted to catch you up on what's been going on in our neck of the woods pretty quiet as you can see , I hope to get some photos of wild life and such today as it is nice out . Our supper is of a roast of beef with all the trimmings a tradition carried on through the generations of our families through out the colder months , a roast of some sort is to be had every Sunday for supper .
Until next time .

Great pics and loved the ones of you too :)
Haha! Gotcha, for sure. You will enjoy your walk today if the weather is similar to here. Cool, calm and cloudy. Love the violet. "Hi Miggs."
You need to take you camera with you next time!!! I see Miggs is just watching you as well.
Wow, that was a lot of sticks! Beautiful flowers on your plants too! xx
Those are fun pics of you picking up sticks. Sneaky man. :) I remember that rhyme as a child too. Your Christmas Cactus are really loaded with blooms! They look great.
Miggs appears to believe you require a supervisor.
We've had a lot of sticks down because of the wind too, and I have to grin at Papa taking them without your knowing, especially the one getting your attention! :-) I've not heard that rhyme in a long time -- Do kids these days even know them? I do hope your weekend ends on a good, and relaxing note!
Miggs looks pretty cozy in that bed, all rolled up!
Such cute pictures of you the sneaky bigger took, enjoyed.Blessings Francine.
That Miggs! I love him! I love the pictures of you picking up sticks and that old rhyme fits perfectly! Henny
It is pretty nice here today -- for the time of year anyway. Sine we aren't in SW Ont anymore, we need to get the snow tires on soon.
Just catching up. Loved the photos of Miggs and Harley!! And it's good to see photos of you. Yes, I understand, I don't like having my photo taken and am always very critical of how I look. But what the heck...I suppose we are always much more critical than anyone else would be. I am with you....have been picking up sticks for weeks now....never ending job!!
