A Bit Of This &That

Starting with the weather as that seems to be the most active thing here right now lol  . The sun has been shining from the beginning of the week and the temps have been warm , last night the winds picked up and the temps dropped  this morning it is cold out   sunny with a few clouds 4°C Feels like –1 or  39°F Feels like 30F  BRR !  I think our warm stretch has come to an end now .

Not much has been going on here either it has been pretty quiet well I say quite in the sense of not much happening but quite really isn't the case with all the birdies in the yard feasting chatting away and singing all at once lol .

From the inside of the living room the other day  I saw this Starling one of hundreds that have been stopping over in droves this past week as they are on their migration path enjoying the Sumac seeds  from our Sumac at the top of our little hill . He  was kind of hiding from me .

It's been a beautiful week to get out with this very late warm fall weather, but yes i think that's over. Snow forecast here.

Lovely potpourri of pictures this morning...I can't even pick the favorite. Fungi on wood is fascinating.

Just catching up after my second eye surgery on Tuesday. Things went well and now I can actually see when I look through the lens of my Canon camera. I had stopped using it for ages because nothing was in focus. We actually saw a few snowflakes drifting down earlier this afternoon. Love your greenery arrangement in your previous post. I got mine done before the surgery.

Hard to believe that winter weather is coming after viewing this post full of photos, Elaine. And sitting at the comouter with a cup of tea and wearing PJs is a perfect way to start the day...everyday!
