Ice , Anyone ?

The weather has been chilly or shall I say frigging cold  and damp as heck today with high winds rain and yes even ice falling from the sky’s . As I was preparing supper this evening I could here the ting ting of the hail on our woodstoves metal  chimney  and windows . I asked Papa to take my camera and get some photos for me of the hail as I do like to archive all kinds of things like this through  photos each year , so he grabbed my camera and off he went to the up stairs hallway window  to get photos of all the hail on the roof  . It is easier for him to use my camera as that way I can just load the photos straight into my computer as we both have our own camera’s and computers  lol !

It is still raining , hailing here and there and very windy . I still have some garden clean up to do even more so now after all this rain wind and hail now that I am feeling better and the leaves on my goodness cant see the lawn for leaves  Papa needs to get out there with his leaf blower mulcher soon when it dry’s up  !  Oh well it will all get done eventually !

Papa also took these photos when we took that little Hawk Cliff trip last Sunday  !

I just love all the farmers road side stands and decor of their driveways this time of year  we have down here whilst they are selling all fresh produce right from their farms !

Well …. I am off to put the kettle on for our cuppa tea and watch one of our shows for the evening for we are all cozy with our Miggs and Harley in our little Woods Country Cove farm house  as the rain wind and hail  taps on the windows !

Until next time my friends !

Terrific shots!

We had off and on rain here most of the day, but it started breaking up in the last light of day, and we got a rainbow out of it.

We heard the tapping on the windows and couldn't believe that we were seeing hail! Fortunately,it didn't last too long...so not mentally ready for COLD.

The weather is constantly surprising these days! Your husband took some beautiful scenic shots, along with the hail-heavy ones. I'll have to go for a nice drive in the country.

It sounds like a marvelous thing to do on such a night. Ugh! Ice and snow bring back some memories of driving challenges. Thanks for sharing your cozy night.

It certainly looks as though the change is in the air for you. We just have a drop in temperature at the moment and some long awaited rain. Enjoy the week xx

We have had two days of much cooler weather and with a load of rain yesterday, but it was still as dry as a bone just a few inches down when I was digging in the garden today. I guess that the change of seasons really is starting to show now isn't it. xx

Nasty weather! You should have some nice days now that the nasty weather is gone.
