Thank you Mother Nature

For your nectar from the sky’s !

We needed rain for sure as the day’s have been hot , humid and sunny and we all know water from the hose is good for our gardens and all but just not a s good as mother natures rains .

Summer 2013 (2 of 18)

Miggs and I were woken up by a big crack of thunder earlier this morning so we decided to get up as she was practically on me like an extra blanket by then anyways lol She doesn’t like thunder .

It is still humid with a bit of a cool breeze and over the river through the valley forest it is misty . so I got my cup of tea and my camera and we headed out to the back patio porch  . As I sat there sipping my tea with my camera ready just in case  , listening to the wonderful birds and rain coming down Miggs was wondering patrolling the yard loving the cool rain on her back.

HI Elaine...Wow your weather sounds like mine, but we have had some awfully severe storms with hard downpours, and thankfully no hail right in my area, but there was one snap of lighten, the yard light up,and the noise was deafening!! I thought that I would have a huge crater in the back yard ""yikes"" it was close lol!!
Well your rainy photos are lovely, it always makes for some good photography!
Miggs of course is always so cute, sorry she hates the thunder, but so does my cat,she always come looking for me!
Take care
Grace

HI Elaine When the rain comes, it brings a different kind of beauty. Raindrops on flowers are very lovely. Margaret

Love your raindrop photos! We have had a LOT of rain - there is flooding in a lot of the area surrounding us. The rivers are swollen. It would be nice if it rained once a week! ;)

We had plenty of rain here as well. I spent my day picking up branches from the storm. Your flowers look great!

Hi Elaine, as I type the skies opened and the rain is coming down. I just got everyone settled in for the night before it did thank goodness. Bandit is the same as Miggs when it comes to T-storms. Hope there is no flooding. I love Chocolate ice cream. xx

We inThe temps have been over 100 the last few days. Walking out the door is liking walking into a furnace. The water comes out of the water hose too hot to touch!
Blessings,
Lorilee
