This old bridge that runs over the river is just a hop and a skip away from our house . It has been there since the early 1700s and the road leads to a long away dead end !

There are all kinds of interesting things by the river and in the forest to photograph .

Spring 2013 (15 of 53)

I didn’t get any photos of wild birds as I had Miggs with me and I couldn't get to close to the banks to hide in the tall grass,  next time I will  but Miggs was a good girl on her leash as she always is and every time I stopped to take photos she would lay down and stay very still till I was done and said OK ! LETS GO !

This valley , forest  and river with all the sights and sounds of nature we have here is defiantly soothing to my soul !

Until next time , Thanks for popping by !

Only wish we had a place as nice as this to go walking. Our small town has back streets, but none are very scenic or worth even taking my camera along. Glad your weather is improving...before the rains in a later post, Elaine.
