A Quiet Weekend

Papa and I didn’t do much over the weekend just puttered and relaxed  and so did Miggs by the looks of it lol !  We had a fun game of PS3  golf which we hadn’t done in a long time and watched a TV series on Netflix .

Papa is still fighting this strange cold he caught over a week ago , he is slowly getting better but it seems to be one of those colds that just keeps hanging on .

The weather has been so up and down with rain , sunshine , humidity and chilly .  This morning it was only  9°C  or 48°F quite chilly for this time of year , It’s a sweat shirt and long pants day today and maybe even a light jacket  .

Mr squirrel  checking to see if the coast is clear to make a mad dash to the seed bowl !

Last year we had to put up chicken wire around one of my gardens to keep the bunnies out as they loved to hide in my bushel of  Tiger Lilies and to this day Miggs is convinced they are still getting  in there or she just really likes to smell the flowers lol !

Spring 2013 (34 of 47)-2

Wild daisies and other wild flowers are now blooming every where  ! I love wild flowers to !

So not much going on at the Cove just enjoying the up and down weather and the wonderful nature we have here !

Until next time  , Thanks for popping by !

You have such a beautiful camera. All your pictures are Excellent. You should go into photograpy for Dogs. Owners would love a good photographer. I mean Miggs is flawless.

I have a question . My son has his garden as you know but something is eating his strawberries. He is not in the wild country like I am and he has it fenced as you see on my blog. So hmmmm
any idea. My hubby said maybe ground hog or mice? Would birds get in ?

Hi Elaine!
Sounds like a nice weekend...:) We had rain last night, but I managed to get the garden and the chickens all tucked in before the showers hit.. gray today but no rain.
Happy Monday!

After a busy Saturday, and a productive Sunday we are enjoying a slow Monday. Glad that it is also a bit cooler. I'm doing some weeding and odd garden jobs, whatever takes my fancy.
