We got a big downpour yesterday here in Houston TOO.....WOOOHOOOOO. My grass and plants were so green and happy this morning. We might have even MORE since Tropical Storm Don is in the Gulf. We are praying for rain only and no damaging winds. Have an AWESOME day!!!

You've got some lovely pictures, and I've been hoping for the same thing here--But the suns out...Summer can be so moody, can't it?

I am not sure how to say how awesome that second shot is without sounding fake. I do believe that is my most favorite picture (except, of course, some of Miggy)that you have posted...simply fantastic!!!!

Beautiful. Would love to have some rain here in the southwest. It has been a very dry year. Thanks for sharing.

Summer rain does wonders for the lawn and gardens. A welcome for dry areas for sure.

Elaine, we all want you to send some rain in our directions. Glad you got some and some great shots too cause there's nothing like raindrops on blooms, especially liked the colorful pansy.
