MONDAY BABBLINGS !
I have laundry on the go, the cat is fast asleep on her scratch post looking like she is about to fall off of it at any time like she always does, have the dinner meat thawing for tonight as I sit here thinking of something interesting to say . There are times I could ramble or babble on and on and other times I am completely blank and haven’t a clue as what to say, will anyone out there in blog land be interested in my nothings and my babbling or will they think I have lost it all together. That, I already feel like some days, like when you walk into a room to get something, till you get there and think “what am I here for” or “what was it I needed” I hate that cause it usually takes hours before I remember what heck it was! Menopause! that's what it is and why I have a bad memory and go blank at times or forget things. That's my story and I”m stickin to it ! Why do they call it Menopause ? it hasn't anything to do with men, or does it ? lol. The Dr says I am pre or peri Menopause more like “FULL BLOWN” with all the symptoms, just ask hubby he’ll tell ya. Like the days I feel grumpy or sad or want to smack someone or am just plain fed up, Menopause ! Isn’t it wonderful ? NOT!!!! I am a bag of hormones changing all the time, it drives me nuts, or am I nuts? Well my family and friends already know that , I was that ages ago before the so called wonderful “change of life”. There are articles I have read about women welcoming Menopause and as they say”embrace it, the hell with that ! I guess those women aren't as far into it as I am cause if they were they wouldn’t be embracing it they would want to scream , jump up and down pulling their hair out . What with the sweats the chills the moods the weight gain the bloating the thinning of hair the ups and downs of it all I am surprised I haven't been committed, yet ! Hubby is very understanding yes but then stays well out of the way when the nasty’s hit, poor guy ! I don't blame him ! So as each day goes by I try to manage with it all and just laugh and joke about it cause if I don't who knows what mood I will be in then. Well so much for not knowing what to say here and for not babbling on , see once I start ya just never know what I will say ! As for all you women out there going through the “change of life” It will be tuff at times but just remember this, oh what stories you could tell about it and that your not alone even though you may feel like you are ! Till the next not knowing what to say babbling fit ! Have a great day !

READY FOR WINTER !
Today hubby has gone down to the marina to get our boat out of the water so it can now be winterized. Mike the marina manager whom I call Skipper, will winterize it over the next week, then we will haul it back here and store it in the back.
The weather today is defiantly fall like , cool and fresh. The other night the moon was full and yellowy orange a Harvest moon it was . Yesterday was hot and humid, the weather has been very up and down and I think it is confusing the trees, they don't seem to know what to do , some are still green, some have changed a little bit and some are fully changed but all are dropping their leaves regardless. Hubby and I will be going on a photo shoot of the colors very soon. We still have lots to do around the house to prepare for the colder weather, BRRRR ! don't want to think of it quite yet !
To all of you out there in blog land, HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND !

A LITTLE INFO ON THE TRILLIUM FLOWER
The trillium flower is a genus of perennial herbaceous plants in the melanthiaceae family and boasts between 43 to 50 different species. Although several species of this plant grow in areas of Asia, the majority of them grow in both Central and Eastern regions of the United States. The trillium grandiflorum – or white trillium flower – is by far the best known species; however, the variety grown can depend upon the region. For example, the white trillium mostly grows in eastern areas of North America, while the Western trillium – as its name implies – can be found growing in more westerly regions. Although there are many varieties and colors available, trilliums are easy to identify due to their triangular shape, three perfectly aligned and equally sized bracts, and long stems. Their hues include the classic white, plus shades of red, purple and pink.
The trillium flower has a long history for a number of culinary and medicinal uses. It is said that for ages many Native American tribes cooked the greens of this plant. Today, the greens are frequently fried, boiled or placed in salads and eaten as an earthy side dish. Their medicinal uses also began with the Native Americans, as some tribes used the root as an effective emmenagogue. Since its discovery as a powerful agent against female reproductive ailments, many other fantastic uses have popped up. The roots are sometimes boiled in milk to help ease stomach complaints; the leaves are boiled in a base – usually lard – to create a soothing salve for skin ulcers; the species that carry heavy astringent properties are regularly used to treat internal hemorrhages, while the acrid types may aid in correcting lung ailments, fevers and phthisis. As well as being a great curative and a tasty dish, the trillium flower has also become the state flower of Ohio, and the emblem for the province of Ontario, Canada – where it is now the focus of urban myth. Many who were raised in the province grew up with the notion that it was illegal to pick wild growing trillium, but are now finding out that this is untrue. However, in several areas of the United States – such as Michigan, Minnesota, New York and Washington – this myth is actually true, though only on public land.
As a gift, trilliums are often given to represent healing. They may also symbolize the joys of spring – as they are early spring growers – or modest ambition. They can be given to someone who is graduating or starting a new path in life to symbolize encouragement, or as a simple “get well” gift for someone going through hard times.

DAY TRIP !
Yesterday hubby, myself and his mom and dad went for a nice day trip to the town of Stratford just one hour away . We had a tour with a tour guide who explained and took us to all the historical sites of the town. It was very interesting and a very beautiful town, lovely old buildings and land marks they all were very well maintained. Many famous Athletes ,TV hosts and actors often visit and stay in Stratford . Brad Pitt and his wife, Meryl Streep and many others. The weather was perfect for the tour. We went on a nice boat ride around their beautiful lake and park lands, Then we went for a nice lunch and did some shopping in the little country boutiques . It was a great day, lots of fun and never before known history and knowledge of the little town of Stratford Ontario Canada !
