Some Of This & That

I have been out and about taking photos enjoying what Spring is bringing me , lots of  Spring birds  singing  in the mornings and evenings and feasting at my feeders , buds on trees and bushes getting bigger , lovely sun rises and the moon shining bright in the early mornings ,  the odd sun set as the  clouds move in  , flowers slowly poking up above ground , grass greening up and so on , oh it is wonderful  . It isn't April yet but we are having showers , I know don't rush the months !

I was up at 5:30am this morning  some one needed to go out for quick pee  Miggs , I looked out the back door that faces west and saw the pretty moon shining ever so bright  so ya know I had to  take photos lol !

MARCH 2016 (3 of 29)

I  am still practicing taking photos in the dark with out them ending up grainy cause of the lack of lighting out there ! All hand held to that's tricky . Thank goodness for Vibration reduction lenses lol !

Can you see the star/planet over to the right of moon yes that tiny speck of light , that is Venus !

MARCH 2016 (10 of 29)

Then later on in the morning as the sun was rising on the horizon in the east I looked out my kitchen window as I was making my second  cup of tea   and saw this out  there and .. you guessed it I had to go out and take photos .

MARCH 2016 (24 of 29)

The sun had an  orangey pinky purplish glow to it as you see here due to the air was damp and cold this morning and the contrails from the  jets were also at a different temperature .

MARCH 2016 (26 of 29)

Dark clouds moved   in and that gave the view an entire new look and more contrast !

I find getting up early can be a good thing as there are so many different and yet wonderful things to discover and photograph.

I would just like to thank you all so much for visiting our blog   for following  and for taking the time to read  my  posts  and for leaving  lovely  comments . I try to respond to the bloggers who comment with their own emails as I know the response will get back to them but for those who comment using blogger bounce which is through bloggers email noreply-comment@blogger.com  I can not respond as it will not get to you so it isn't that I don't want to I cant if you are using  this email   but I can if you were to attach your email to it if you would like   .    The weather for  today and Thursday is  Rain, Rain, Rain  with temps well above freezing  day and night  then sun shine  . I know some of you in Ontario  will be getting a mixture of rain/snow and ice pellets hope that all melts fast for you and be safe .

Easter is approaching for this weekend and my Birthday is Friday  yes the big  50  all I can say is FEW !! I made it lol !

                                                                                Until next time .

Happy Birthday...don't you hate it being so dark in the morning. But the sunrise is always worth it. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday and Happy Easter time!
I love taking pics of the moon. Mine are all hand held too. I have a hard time with the--too much light and the not enough light thing too. Yours pics are extremely lovely.

Happy Birthday for this Friday Elaine :) your photos are a pleasure to see. Getting up early for taking photos, I don't do that nearly as often as I should. Me, myself and I have become such good friends over the winter, but that excuse is not acceptable for spring ;). Thanks for stopping by. Your comment gave me a chuckle.

What beautiful photos, I can see why you grabbed your camera. We're still struggling with Spring here, we had a couple inches of snow yesterday. Things were looking up but that big Colorado low is on it's way, I'm sure you will be hit too. We finally have our Robins, I always wonder how they'll get their food when the snow comes. Stay safe.

I have always been fascinated by the moon, and have always loved moon photographs. It is hard to capture its beauty...but you did an amazing job here :)

Great sunrise clouds.

I don't get why people hide their emails. It doesn't cause a flood of SPAM, folks. Honestly.

Happy birthday Elaine, you are so young at 50!! Hubby's birthday is on the last day of March, 69 for him.
It's a miserable day (Thursday) with snow, ice pellets, ice rain. We've been inside all day just watching the storm pass by. Looks like a nice weekend coming, got a small turkey to cook, so lots of delicious smells and tastes.
