Miggs Had A Visitor On A Rainy Day

It was a rainy day yesterday and my in laws are in the middle of selling their house and down sizing  so their dog Shadow came over for a few hours for a visit whilst the house was being shown  .

They live next door but Miggs still thinks it is great to have her friend Shadow in her house for a visit !

MARCH 2016 (5 of 9)

Shadow is a King Shepherd and a very sweet dog , she lives with two cats .

MARCH 2016 (6 of 9)

These two are best buds !

MARCH 2016 (7 of 9)

Shadow is 10 years old and has a bit of hip problems but she does well and loves her buddy Miggs .

MARCH 2016 (8 of 9)

They both like the same holistic treats and love to share each others treats when they go to one another's house .

MARCH 2016 (9 of 9)

Miggs always fusses over Shadow and  kind of looks after her  in a way , I think Miggs can tell she is her elder . They get along well and always have when Shadow was younger her and Miggs loved to play out in either our yard or my in laws and they would play a bit of chase and fetch the ball . Always fun to have a friend over on a rainy day !

It is cloudy right now this morning at 7am and a bit chillier then it has been  but the sun is trying it’s best to shine away the clouds  , sunshine for the afternoon and the temps are to warm up  . Saturday looks to be sunny and warm Sunday rain but warm then sunshine and warm temps for the week  , spring flowers are growing fast in the gardens now and the grass is already greening up .  I cant believe the second week of March is done already WOW ! time fly's doesn’t it ? Sunday is Day Light Savings so remember to turn your clocks one hour ahead  WOOHOO ! The kiddies are on spring break here after today so I wont see the bus pass by for the week  , seeing the yellow bus always reminds me of my school days in the country as I to took the bus to school .

SPRING  is just around the corner  YEAH !!!.

Well that's it for me for now . Until next time !

Shadow and Miggs look like the best of buds. She will miss her friend when they move away. It's still lovely out, a bit cooler this morning, but the sun is there cheering us up. We've been having fun watching Little Red chase the other squirrels out of her domain. :)

Oh how wonderful that these two dogs get along. I know some days Benny looks out that window so much as if he's waiting for Lucy to come and play. Lucy is our daughters dog and even though Lucy is a golden retriever it doesn't seem to scare Benny.
Or I wonder if he misses Fergus? Rained here yesterday as well and today's to be sunny
but right now its overcast and much colder. Have a great weekend!
