It was such a lovely day I decided to sit in my lawn / birding chair and take in all the busyness of the yard with camera in hand , sitting still and quietly watching waiting for those perfect moments .
I could sit there watching and taking photos of the wild life for hours , study them , get to know their characters and how close they will let me get to them in their comfort zone knowing I wont hurt them but just want to take their photo . Some seem obliged and almost pose for me like this little guy in the above photo and others well , they turn their back to me or they take off but come back to be nosey and see what I am all about !
Nope , not looking at you lady ! Awe come on Alvin , please !
We have two chipmunks here and they are both ever so cute .
This is Theodore he is smaller and lighter in colour then Alvin !
Our Mr Sparrow at his home waiting for the Mrs ! They are both very friendly and will strike a pose for me and let me get quite close as you see here !
The sun was shining the breeze was cool and all were busy in the yard .
This little guy our Song Sparrow he seems to blend in with the left over seed on the ground as he was taking feed breaks in between his pretty serenading song from the tops of the hedges !
The Juncos are feasting like mad as it is almost time for them to leave for our warmer weather !
I love sitting out there watching them all and listening to them .
And of course photographing them ! It can be quite a challenge to time their movements , if they are to fly away or flee or just sit there and take no notice of me or come close to get a better look lol !
Whilst I was sitting doing all this Miggs was laying on her swing enjoying the breeze and the sounds of the yard .
Nature always amazes me and I cant get enough of it , it is my music , my movie , my tranquility , my sane , my canvas , I get so lost in it’s wonder and beauty !
Until next time .

That's the best way to pass time in the garden. Watching and listening to the birds are the best therapy you can get.
