A Bit Of This & That

Not much has been going on here even though the weather has been wonderful , lots of sun shine warmer temps calm winds , quite pleasant really .  Just the odd tiny patch of snow left here and there but for the most part it has gone and we are brown and green again .

I am really liking this mild snowless winter but there is just one thing about it I dont like and that is  it hasnt been cold enough to kill off all the summer bugs so I fear we are going to be infested by them come  spring and summer  .  Oh well I guess you cant have everything now can you  lol ! .

The temps are mild again today and  the sun is beaming down as the land warms up  for the day  , that sun has some warmth to it that is for sure and I am loving the earlier sun rises and later sun sets  but as of this evening a rain storm is to be over us , through the night and all day tomorrow but this storm they say carries snow for the northern parts of the province .

It is ground hog day today for us here in Canada and if he sees is shadow well there is 6 more weeks of winter and if he doesnt   or vise a versa I can never remember  lol but  to be honest there is still 6 more weeks of winter  either way , it has been a Februray 2nd thing every year to pridict the coming of spring since 1956 , we used to have really bad winters in the past years so it gave Canadians something to look forward to or not lol !    Well thats my little bit of  This & That for now  hope you all have  a good day and for those of you up north hope you dont get to much snow from this storm  .

                                                                                  Until next time !

I'm loving this wider weather too. Lots of garden items appearing in stores so I can start planning the veggies and gardens. It's hard to imagine that it is the beginning of February when we look out the window. Big rain storm heading our way overnight and tomorrow which should wash away the last bits of snow. Enjoy the outside in this nice weather.

Speaking of insects not dying, I had a fly land on me in my easy chair the other.

I've been noticing bugs waking up already too, but hope the birds gobble them up in a hurry! Enjoy your soggy day tomorrow ;)

We have sighted robins in our yard and trees, so they are headed north for Spring.

It's been a strange winter for sure! And yes, although we've had some cold and snow I wonder if it's enough to kill off certain bugs that we don't want around. :) Like earwigs. We are getting snow here today but rain tonight and mild tomorrow. Have a good day.
