First I would like to thank all of you for your well wishes whilst I was battling this rotten sinus cold . I appreciate your kind words and concern and taking the time to let me know that . I am feeling much better .
The weather has been lovely and we hit a high of +8 or 45F yesterday with windy conditions and even the winds were warm, most of our snow has now melted as the land is warming up and the sun has been shining and is on its way up this morning to , the temps this morning at 7am were already +3 or 37F which was quite nice and refreshing . Today the temps are to rise to a lovely 10C or 50F do I feel and smell spring on it’s way ? Absolutely !
This was taken Thursday ! Still lots of snow .
This was taken this morning after the warm spell and sunshine !
Just patches of snow left now , I have to get out there and clean away all the leftover seed from the ground under the feeders now lol !
The sun rising and shining in our living room window this morning is a welcomed sight for sure with the warmer temps and snow melting .
Hard to believe just a day ago our yard was covered in snow , amazing what a warm spell can do .
I was on my way to letting Miggs outside to do her business and I saw a Doe and her Fawn casually strolling across the grass on our neighbors lawn so Miggs had to wait a bit as I didn't want her to scare them . There is a tree farm in the back of this property and they like to roam through it and into the field beside us . I carefully turned off the inside light as it was just dusk and so they don't see me moving in the kitchen and took a few photos of them from my window , the Fawn was playing a jumping about I was smiling from ear to ear watching these two beauties .
The only good photo I got as they moved about to much and I was taking photos in the dusk of morning and through the window but I am happy I got this . Aren't they beautiful ?! The deer here are very cautious due to the amount of dogs we have in the area and they tend to frighten them off a bit , so they walk in the dark of the night and early morning more to keep under radar of the dogs and so we don't see them much before we get up but as the weather warms up more and I get up earlier I am hoping to capture them more and we are trying to teach Miggs not to bark at them which is a challenge at times .
Well that's it for me today finally feeling better , the weather is spring like and I will be looking and listening for Mr. Robin to show up in the next few days or so with this warm spell as they usually do and to get out and enjoy it all .
Until next time .

Good to hear you are feeling better. Our temperatures are rising as well, the snow is going down but not as much as yours. We got 22.4 cm last Tuesday. It sure was windy overnight though. That is a lovely photo of the deer. Enjoy the weekend.
Your pictures are really wonderful; especially of the deer! We don't have deer here but we have very tame foxes. The picture of Miggs is really cute! We had tons of snow and we lost a lot of it over the past week with our thaw. It's a wonderful winter compared to last. Last year was a nightmare in every sense of the word! I'm glad you're feeling better. I have been very ill with a totally different problem but I think I'm on the mend now. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Such lovely shadows, and Miggs of course.
Firstly I am sorry to hear you have been having sinus trouble. i have been away in Costa Rica for the past 3 weeks and have not seen any posts although I scheduled in all my daily posts while I was away. Hope you are feeling alot better now.Love all the critters especially the forst one of Miggs. Have a lovely weekend.
I'm glad you are feeling better now Elaine. So far we have both avoided getting colds this winter. I think we need to get a dog again! LOL If you check my blog you'll see why. Honestly, having 20 or more deer wandering around the fields and yards is really a problem here and you know how destructive they can be. Oh well. It's miserable here this afternoon with an east wind and wet snow/ rain mix. Have a great day!
What a difference. From Miggs' point of view, those are intruders who must be driven off the property, hence the barking.
So sorry you are having sinus trouble. Are you feeling any better now?
I like your pictures. I love deer, and your dog is so cute. :)
Love,

So glad you are turning a corner with the cold. Poor Miggs having to wait, what a patient dog and what a great opportunity to take the photos of the deer. Have a wonderful weekend xx
Evening, nice to feel the warmer weather, but cold here tonight... Love the deer, great shot of them.Blessings Francine.
I'm glad you're feeling better. A sinus cold is a nasty thing!
You certainly got a lot of snow in your part of the country. We saw the reports on the news and then recently heard about the big thaw. Winter is interesting where you are!
I'm glad you're feeling better, and are enjoying some good weather! I always love to see the deer too, there's something so peaceful about them, and with Miggs along, it's a good way to start any day!
Glad you are starting to feel better!
Hello, cute shot of the Miggs. It is nice to finally have warmers temps. Love the cute deer, happy Sunday!
What a cheerful, sunlit post! I'm happy to hear you are feeling better.
The deer are really beautiful.
Thank you for sharing and have a great week ahead!
Great photos - amazing how fast the snow comes and how fast it goes. We have several herds of deer that wander through our yard (causing me to only garden in pots on my deck) I do love to see them though. Great shots. It is nice that you are feeling better - I'm in the last stages of a very miserable cold - hurray - it is coming to an end.
Happy to hear you are feeling better. So many nice photos of your world. That's such an interesting tree trunk...
Have a sunlit week!
so glad to be back to see your photos ! Glad the weather is improving as well, I hear you folks in the east have been hit pretty hard this winter
Happy to hear your feeling better and thanks for this latest series of photos. They are always a treat to see. Happy day to you :)
I'm glad you're on the mend. How fun to see the deer, even if they eat almost everything in sight. They are such graceful creatures.
Elaine, I'm glad you're feeling more yourself now. The fawns are definitely a pretty sight! It must have been a real treat to see them that morning.
