I was taking , or trying to take photos of the baby Barn Swallows which I had no problems doing at the beginning of the summer but this time  Mrs Barney we call her wasn’t to impressed with me being with in 20 feet of her babies as she dive bombed me on and off , one time she got so close I heard her beak snap open and closed . So I got the shots I was looking for and let her and her  babies be  and let her calm down,  my goodness they tweet  and carry on frantically and call the family to help to lol . I felt like a cat being chased off lol !

Odd summer weather, eh? After the incredible heat of last week, it has been mostly cloudy and cool (cool for summer). One does appreciate the cool nights for sure. I like the one photo of nothing but hummer. Didn't know the swallows were so fiesty.

Beautiful captures of the birds and blooms. I like the left photo in your header - it's so pretty. Yes, I was thinking about the hummers lately that they'll soon be leaving us. We get stragglers here until mid-September though but certainly not the busy crew that is around right now. The shot of the baby barn swallows is sweet. Enjoy the weekend.

I'm always impressed by how many different species of birds there are across blog land...and how a country like Canada can have so many different ones from one end to the other.

Your flowers are very pretty, and colorful.
