A Bit Of This & That

Well to start off Papa was cutting the grass yesterday and flew of the tractor holding his side of his face . I thought he was stung by bees but he had a Japanese beetle go in his ear  it was painful for him so we got warm water and a bit of soap and with a syringe flushed it out  , it did bite him in his ear and he was bleeding a bit but all is ok this morning . He will be going to the Dr’s to get it checked out though . Go figure the one time he didn’t have his ear head phones on this happens to him  . I have never in my life have or have known anyone to have a bug go in their ear  maybe a few have a bee in their bonnets but never this lol !

I cant believe it is August already   WOW !  I watched the blue moon   it is called   last night as it was rising taking photos  it  was lovely I believe it was a full moon .  So of course I had to get out there get eaten alive as I was in shorts taking photos of the moon rising over the valley !

AUGUST 2015 (3 of 5)

I never get bored of the site of the moon rising especially when there is a bit of cloud around it and the silhouette  of the trees are there ,  makes for interesting and challenging photography !

Then this morning when I got up made my cuppa tea greeted the day outside on the patio porch there was the same moon setting in west .

The sun had rose and the moon was setting all about the same time as I sat there listening to all the birdies waking up as they chit chatted and sang their morning songs .  I then took photos of other things as my eye spotted them .

Mr Spider in his web , he just climbed there and was waiting for breakfast to fly in , sorry Mr spider looks like you will be waiting till lunch time  two bugs already dodged your trap .

I then went searching for more of the morning to photograph . Oh look how pretty the  flowers look with the soft sun rise shining on them .

AUGUST 2015 (2 of 14)

As I was out this morning Papa and Miggs were  still up in bed as Sundays are their both like to lay in a bit longer  on Sunday mornings , as for me NOT !!  I get up and greet each day as the sun comes up and enjoy what nature brings me that time of the morning !

Well the  air  this morning is cooler  as last night got damp but  we haven't had rain for over a week  hoping for rain later this evening  it seems to go around us a lot these days lol .

Any who that’s our Bit of This and That for now  hope you all have a good day ,  until next time .

Great moon photos, this was the blue moon, second full moon for the month of July. I've been outside working early this morning. With all our trips out I've been missing the early mornings in the garden. Hope Papa is okay, nasty to get a bug in your ear.

I love the moon too, we were driving home so I never got much pictures of it but I sure enjoyed it.

Ouch, your poor husband, that sounds awful! Ugh...poor guy. I hope that it heals up fast, with no after effects.

Sorry, skimmed over the spidy pics...can't do them...no matter how small, I'm just not a fan of spiders...lol.

Your pictures are amazing as always.

I tried. I really did...to shoot the moon. I am ashamed of my results. Maybe you can give me some tips since you did so splendidly.

How unusual to have a beetle fly into your ear, ugh! Hope the bite doesn't cause any problems.
Spider webs are a real work of nature's art, aren't they! Great shots.
Second storm rolling through just now but we sure need the rain.

That beetle was asking for trouble to fly in papa's ear, glad he is out.
I love the collection of pictures of the moon by night and day.
