SNAP !!!! Winter Blizzard !

Well it is blowing a blizzard out there this morning . It is 7 : 30 am and the winds are howling and roaring, snow is flying around drifts piling up and the temps are down right biting cold ! The kind of winter we are used to  in Ontario Canada  not  the spring like weather we have been having for January !

The beginning of the week was sunny and warm , yesterday was chilly and rainy and today a winter blast WOW ! mother nature is all over the place this year !

DSC_3312 Snow blowing like crazy across the street ! It is hard to get photos of blowing snow let alone in the dark lol .

Sounds like the same progression we had here but not near the amount of snow you have.

Stay warm.

Enjoyed your photos. It is blowing snow and cold here too. What a shocking surprise after the mild winter we've had so far.

Love the photo of the trees with the birdies in it!... hope you are feeling better... the cold weather really does wreak havoc with our aches and pains, I remember my grandma always saying she could "feel it in her bones"... when a storm was coming... xoxo Julie Marie

Makes for some fun images, doesn't it. I hope you don't have to drive in it!

Looks mighty cold! The Midwest got hit, too! My family back in IL finally got snow! Glad you are feeling better!

So glad to hear your feeling better! But.....I don't envy you in your snow storm at all. Ya'll stay warm and safe, and keep the Miggy girl warm, too. I know she likes to play in the snow, but tell her to come in and warm up occasionally so that her little paws don't get frost bit.

It has been like summer here in So. Calif. I am hoping we get rain soon as it is so dry. How pretty all that snow will be when you wake up tomorrow. Glad you are on the mend and I love your header shot of that bird!

Sounds like winter has showed up there - we are just cold single digits above zero... have a wonderful weekend!

Its been mild everywhere but that could all change. Without cold weather in the winter it just does not feel normal. At least you are getting some snow.

I hope you do start feeling better. Also, low Calcium and vit-D can cause trouble too. Good you went to the dr.

Thanks for the email on the grey we adopted. I was in close contact with a lady that deals with issues concerning Greyhounds. This dog needed to be with other dogs and not parrot safe. Will not put my parrots through that again, they lost lots of feathers from stress. I know when the new feathers come in they will probably have stress marks.

Stay warm and feel better.
