Gone To The Birds

It has finally stopped raining . All though it is now cold and the wind has a bite to it , we have a little dusting of snow and the sun keeps peeking out every now and then. The clouds are dark here and there but it makes for good photos !

I bundled up ,  looked like the Michelin man and headed out to fill the feeders and take bird photos ! I have a total of  16 feeders  there are suet's, oil sunflower seeds , wild bird seed with fruit and peanuts !

Click on photos to enlarge if you please !

DSC_2573  Tundra Swans. Theses beautiful birds migrate here for the winters . I am yet to get close ups of them !

Our Red Bellied Woodpecker we named Charlie . He some times comes down to have peanuts ! He talks to me all the time I am out there ! This is the tree he lives in behind Papa’s work shop.

I just love the nature we have here , to  be able to capture them in a photo  ! To be out there camera in hand surrounded by all kinds of birds is awesome !

Until next time , hope you all have a wonderful day !

We are finally getting a little snow here, too. Your birds are wonderful. We have to set up something to be able to shoot pics of birds through a window without a screen in it. Every time I see so many great images, I say we have to do that.... :)

Happy New Year!

I just love seeing the geese flying overhead, especially when they honk !
What a splendid bird feeder Papa made for you, he is so talented with the woodworking.
Wishing you and yours a Happy and Healthy New Year. I've so enjoyed our visits back and forth throughout the year, and look forward to more of the same in the coming year.

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ¤ HAPPY NEW YEAR ELAINE!!*´¨)I don't know how you can keep up with all the feeders--I have a hard enough time with just 3! :-) But I do really love the birds, and I enjoy seeing the pictures everyone takes of them--You've taken some really good ones and you've inspired me to keep taking them to try and get such good, clear shots like you've taken! Stay warm, and I hope your year is off to a good start! :-)
