STILL GETTING USED TO MY NEW CAMERA

I have been taking a lot of photos and getting used to my new camera. It is quite different to me as I am so used to my old camera which still works great only has a few blurps in my photos.Papa said we will send in the old camera and see what can be done, in the mean time I will work with the new one.See my old camera had only 3 focus points were the new one has a bunch of them and that makes a big difference my eye has been trained one way and now I have to train it to another and now a days my eyes aren't the best lol I am also a very habitable person and once I get used to something it is hard for me change, some people would call that stubborn lol  I call it set in my way of doing something. My old camera and I got to a point where we were at one with each other and worked quite well together any photographer will tell you that they feel the same with their camera, don't get me wrong I am having fun learning through trial and error with this camera just a bit frustrated cause my photos aren't the same as with my old camera .  I will just have to get used to all this camera can do and each cameras performance is different.

Here are some photos I saved from the new camera !

Great photos. Just love Miggy!

Nice shots - I like the one of the bird sitting on the other one's head! Also, of course, Miggy on the glider. This camera is a LOT heavier than the D60, too, right? That makes a difference.

Very nice images, and clear too. I think a little down the line i will be needing a new camera with more lens capacity, but for now my trusty Kodak will just have to get the job done. I would get another Kodak though just with more features. Richard from Amish Stories.

Hi Elaine, getting used to anything new does take time as you said we are creatures of habit. I recently bought an ipod touch on ebay and am having a tough time with itunes as I am used to Windows Media Player on my PC. Eventually we all get the hang of learning and then something new comes along. ENjoyed the photos. Have a great weekend.

If this is you learning on a new camera, I'd say the two of you are destined to make beautiful pictures together! I love those bird shots.

I know what you mean by seeds flying everywhere. I finally discovered the birds were flinging the ones they don't like out of the way to get to what they really like. SUNFLOWER seeds! So now I only put sunflowers in the feeders so there is very little waste.
