We’re Still Here

We are still here ,  well some what lol  Papa and I have been busy with dog and cat sitting whilst his parents have been away in Florida  and the fact that they are in the middle of selling their house and Papa and I mostly Papa  for now   have been keeping it all clean and tidy  doing  a bit of sweep up here and there  also  to show it to potential buyers . We had our yearly  physicals yesterday  spent most of the day getting the regular yearly  tests done to make sure all is good .

The weather has been again up and down but the sun is shining and the snow is finally over for us  now the only precipitation we get are April showers  and that brings May flowers  with  lots of sunshine and warming temps  FIINALLY  !  spring is truly here !

Saturday we had a bit of snow , freezing rain and then rain  and after all the rain from Saturday through most of Sunday the snow was all gone .

It was lovely and sunny this morning and just before lunch we had wet snow and rain for a few minutes, now it is cloudy and windy. i just did a walk around the garden with the small hand rake and pulled off leaves and dried bits to see what plants are coming through. ... found lots. I keep telling myself it will be nicer by the weekend :)
That's a neat picture of the sky just before sunset.

Temperatures have warmed here today, but nights are still cold...brrr.
How nice of you to take care of the house-showings and keeping everything nice and tidy for your relatives, I'm sure it helps tremendously.
Beautiful sky, magical.

We seem to be slowly turning the corner here. It may be quite nice by the weekend.

You have had a lot of changeable weather lately, Elaine, as we have too in NH. This week was rainy and damp but improving now. The sunsets are beautiful after a miserable start to the day. Nice to see the photos of Miggs and Shadow in the previous post and hope your in-laws are having a good road trip...do theybplan to relocate to FL when their home is sold?

I love the picture of Miggs running home in front of your husband, in the snow. Oh, I bet you are glad to have some warmer temperatures!

Wonderful photos and I love the sunset reflections in the puddles. I think spring is here too, for at least this week. Haha. Have a great day Elaine!

Miggs looks quite stoic standing up to all that wind.
