Enjoying The Weather

Yes  that's right we have been out side enjoying this incredible spring weather . The sun has been shinning every day and will so for the next week with temps climbing  higher each day . Yesterday was  warm sunny and even the breeze were warm  the temps reached a high of 16C or 62F  . Miggs and I played for a  bit in the yard  then Miggs myself and Shadow the dog we are dog sitting  sat and enjoyed the sun.. well  I was puttering whilst the two dogs were snoozing and the birds and critters were busy at the feeders and collecting nesting materials from around the property , there was not a cloud in the sky at all .

Nothing like have a good game of fetch in the war air and sunshine !

I was taking lots of photos as you see here yesterday whilst we were outside and I saw three red admiral butterfly's  fly by through out the day none landed so I couldn't get any photos of them  but that is a sure sign our temps are rising  and our spring has arrived for good .

Like the cage feeder to the left I had another one here but over the winter the inside plastic cylinder inside cracked and broke so using an old potting plate and evenly chains to hang it by Papa made this flat feeder for me  and they love it not only can they gather around in and on it but the get to have a little swing swung on it to  and they seem to like that !

The Red Wing blackbirds , Starlings and Cow birds have all bees hogging bot on and under the feeders making a ruckus as they search for their mates .

So between the sun shining the temps warming up more each day , birds returning as they and critters both  feasting at the feeders   as well as all are  busy making nests, my flowers blooming  , trees budding and close to popping open as well as Lilac bushes and others  I say all is well and truly happy  spring is finally here , grass is green and thick  I will be cutting that this weekend and bringing out the patio table and chairs as well  putting up my cloths line umbrella and hanging my laundry out this weekend on it  , Papa is going to get a power washer after work today handy little machines they are and then well we will just be out side all weekend puttering soaking up the sun and warm temps that are to be summer like ,  the weekend is to be sunny , sunny , sunny and  temps are to be hitting  highs of 20C to 22C or 69-70F .

                                                                           WHOOHOO !

                                                                                    Until next time .

Looks great, especially the birds. We haven't hit your temperature heights yet, but we're moving in the right direction.

I love to see Miggs outside! Last night I called my husband to the computer just to show him Miggs. He said Miggs looks like he should be in the movies. What kind of dog is Miggs? He is a cutie pie!

I saw a butterfly yesterday too, thought it was a swallowtail but it flitted by so quick and didn't land I couldn't be sure. I'm going to make the hummingbird food this weekend and hang it out during the days.
It's a gorgeous weekend, we've had a couple of bbq's and spent lots of time outside. Enjoy.

What a thrill that spring is here. It was in the mid 60's here today although my car said it was 71. How nice is that? I had a little walk around some of the gardens, what a mess! Can't wait to get working on those. I love your flat make-do feeder, I've been thinking about creating something like that. They obviously enjoy it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

What a perfect and fabulous way to spend time -- It really doesn't get any better, and there's no doubt your girl knows that! :-)
