April , The Teaser Month

Yes that's right  , the month that teases us into thinking spring is actually here  and winter has finally gone, then it changes on a dime . Lovely sun rises and sunsets with warm temps , spring flowers start to rise from the ground as some are close to blooming , birds return , thunderstorms pass over ,peepers sing at night and in the early mornings grass greens up and gets thicker  then SMACK!  the temps turn cold windy and snow falls  well will yeah look at that old man winter just will not get  the picture and get lost , as the birds sit there looking at each other with such a  disgusted  and disappointed look on their faces as  if to say  REALY ?   your kidding right ?    we thought it was spring ! Me to when I saw the snow falling !

Well I am glad the snow falling today  did not stick  around and  hope the snow that is to be falling tomorrow doesn't either , I hope  this will be the last of old man winter as spring truly  takes over for good and pushes old man winter out .

I took a few photos over the past day or so  , I have been busy with some spring cleaning and organizing .

APRIL 2016 (4 of 8)

                                                                                          April 1st sunrise .

APRIL 2016 (5 of 8)

The moon was setting . This moon phase is called the third quarter .

Today we took Miggs to the groomer  and as usual she got the full treatment and now looks and smells so much better  , Whist Miggs was at the groomers  Papa  loaded my tractor Betsy  on to the trailer and we took her up to Ingersoll to our small engines mechanic as Betsy was acting up and needs to be looked at , we hope he can fix her and I can get her back soon all though if this weather keeps up like it is I wont be using her till the end of May lol !

APRIL 2016 (7 of 8)

Then we went shopping  for a while and got the call that Miggs was all done and ready so we went to pick her up and come home .

As soon as we got home Miggs was ready for a nap .

Miggs realized that now she doesn't have a thick heavy coat in this changing chilly  April weather and doesn't want to stay outside for long lol ! Supper was BBQ marinated  steak with fried onions and mushrooms , mashed potatoes and Cesar salad  YUMMY !.

Well that’s it for me for now   we are relaxing for the evening with cups of tea a few TV shows  for me and  Papa is on the computer playing a game with his buddies  whilst this weather decides to snow , rain  or both with occasional clearing   .

                                                                                 Until next time .

Miggs looks tired after her day at the spa. It's a lot of work for a girl to stay beautiful. lol We are having similar weather but no snow. It's been raining and cold. Just the pits. And tomorrow our high is -6. :( Geesh...time to get the scarf & mitts out again. I'm actually happy nothing much is popping through the ground here but I feel for the birds.

We had that wet snow this morning, settled while it was coming dow, but melted as soon as it stopped. sure hope this is winters last attempt at sticking around.

Miggs looks lovely, and she and Todd are no doubt thinking the same thing! :-) My husband also had our tractor picked up to be serviced -- It seems you and I are having about the same weather and week. :-)

A quick glance made me think that April is 'Taser' month. Hmm.

Anyway, it's freaking cold here and windy. Blew down neighbour's fence last night.

Poor Miggs ... she looks all in! She does look very soft and pretty though. This weather really is getting a bit annoying now. Snow, rain, thunderstorms here too. At least you're still able to get your gardens ready. Enjoy your day!

Oh yes. April is a tease all right. Miggs looks so pretty and I think that it is cute that she was worn right out after her grooming. I hope that this weather moderates soon for her sake!
