The Day Before The Storm

Miggs and I had been out side most of the day yesterday  soaking up the warm clear sunny day , I was raking up twigs and old seed and I had a nice fire going in our chiminea  as well . Miggs and I played ball , I took photos and  watched the birdies it was a wonderful spring like day .

February 2016 (2 of 59)                Oh the smell of wood smoke on a fresh sunny day is amazing I love it  , If only I could bottle that smell !

Yesterdays sunrise was soo pretty with the  contrails floating in the sky !

Miggs and I went for a nice walk early in the morning  then had a game of ball  in the yard !

Miggs loves her outside toys and always loves to play  she has so much energy and is so fun !

February 2016 (37 of 59)

Whilst Miggs was figuring out what ball she wanted to play with I took photos of the yard and sky . I like to document the weather each year each month , just to look back on over the years and see how much the climate changes from year to year .

Then Miggs came to me with her choice and off we played again lol !

This time Miggs decided to have one ball in her mouth and chase the other  something she has done since a puppy !

February 2016 (46 of 59)

Miggs was getting tired and I had taken oh a hundred shots or so of her playing so that was it for the toys  , time to rest .

And always on yard duty !

I went about and .. yup you guessed it took more photos !

The birds have been feasting at all the feeders and enjoying the spring like weather !

There is a big storm brewing in the area coming up from the states  and for our Ontario today  , and it has a mix of all sorts for us , some are getting   snow , some are getting freezing rain and right now we are getting rain .

February 2016 (58 of 59)

So we are in today puttering and the girls are doing what they do best on a rainy windy chilly day .

February 2016 (1 of 1)

                                                                                     relaxing and snoozing !

So that was our day yesterday  before this storm set in for today . I  hope we just keep getting the rain  and no snow that this storm is to possibly have  , they say rain for some parts of Ontario mostly the most southern parts like us  and snow for others  in the snow belt areas that are mostly in the north east   in other wards a mixed bag of mother nature for everyone in our province  lol  .

                                                                                       Until next time

Lovely day for you yesterday. Storm is here, started with some ice very early on, now snow, then supposed to be ice pellets and then rain. It's a stay home day. I'm starting a couple of new craft projects, still fixing up my site after the hack (finding all the lost widgets) and perhaps watch some curling. Stay warm.

So much fun to see these photos. Miggs with her ball especially and the one of the girls in the last shot. The outside fire looks great and sweet birds. It is raining like the dickens down here.

We have had some frosty starts but also some lovely sunshine. Lovely photos, that sunrise is beautiful. Enjoyed the photos of Miggs and her balls, she has such a lovely face. You sound just like me.. constantly taking photos. Hope the storm isn't too bad for you. :o)

Looks like a lovely day you had! I love the smell and look if wood burning! We had tornados and rain with lots of wind last night but today is sunny and in the 60's but still very windy!

Miggs looks like she has boundless energy! I'm glad the storm isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but still a messy day with snow & rain. Tomorrow should be another stay-in day :)

Well, it sure doesn't look like that around here today! Started snowing here about 11, and our world is now quite white again! If the temperature is hivering close to zero, i prefer snow, a lot safer.

Great shots! I hope it hasn't been too bad where you are. We've had mostly rain throughout the entire day. Very messy out there. And right now there's thunder and lightning going on. Hopefully it ends soon.

Good morning, I always enjoy seeing your cute Miggs. Gorgeous sunrise. We had a big storm yesterday evening, thunder, lighting and threats of tornadoes. Have a happy day!

Lots of fun with Miggs every day. What a cutie. The storm is pretty well done here but maybe a few more showers into the morning then cold again. Have a cozy evening.
