This & That

I have been busy  enjoying the days , all though they have been chillier then normal for this time of year and we had lots of rain in there to   but needless to say  I have been outside a lot .  I can't believe it is June already , where do the days and months go now  zooming by like mad !  The birds and critters are very busy to with all the nesting and feeding their babies it has been a mad house here lol !

I haven't even taken very many photos either which is strange for me .

I am enjoying all the new perennial plants we put in this year the bleeding hearts being one of them and   the butterfly and hummer garden is doing well  and growing quite nicely , Papa  is still working on the bench seats he is making for the top and  sides of it in between all the other honey to do list lol !

On  warm sunny days Miggs has been relaxing after our walks and keeping the yard in order when she can between snoozes lol !
All in all things are growing well in the gardens all though it was a touch and go situation there for a bit with the wonky weather and colder temps but  I have just been taking it easy for now with the odd pulling of weeds in the gardens  that grow faster then anything else especially after a good rain .. go figure eh?

Well that's about all that has been going on in our neck of the woods I plan on getting more photos as the weather is getting more like our June weather now and lots of fungi and wild flowers are out now to . So I will leave you with one little reminder  .

Take the time to stop and smell the flowers and enjoy nature, it will be good for the soul  !

                                          Until next time .

I think the warmer weather is back today, and I do stop to smell my flowers every day. I can't imagine not having a garden to work in that provides healing therapy.

Your pics are somewhat smaller than they used to be.

Hello, we have having some rainy chilly weather too lately. We did need the rain, so I guess I should not complain. Love your Oriole, bleeding hearts and cute Miggs. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Oh, I LOVE bleeding hearts. Remind me of my grandmother. I had them at my other home in my shade garden.

Beautiful pictures.

Have a blessed day.

I agree this cooler weather did through a spanner in the works there. I thought I would have lost some plants, but they seem to be keeping up. Glad to see a photo of Miggs.

Sitting here sweltering in the 30+ and unusual for this time of year temps we can hardly believe you are still experiencing frost...odd year isn't it?

But the garden will persevere...it always does.

Your bleeding heart looks lovely.

We have the rain and wind lashing at the windows at the moment so June has certainly started with a vengeance! I'm hoping the wind will leave some petals on the plants :-) Enjoy the rest of the week in your wonderful garden x

It started out chilly this morning but warmed up this afternoon, now it seems to be cooling down again. Thank goodness all the plants seem to be thriving in the recent rainfall and these cooler temperatures.
