We had a snow storm all night and all through the day yesterday and we are now a winter wonderland . It went form no snow to all snow in a matter of hours lol !
The other day Tuesday was a pretty nice day with some sun so I got out and took photos of my birdies and other things .
Maybe a bit of a photo over load here so bare with me I just want to share the wonders of our neck of the woods lol !
It is hard enough to get a photo of one of our male Cardinals as they are so skittish but look I got two in one shot oh boy !
Ok guys there is enough for everyone don't pig out now !
Miggs has that are you done with the bird pics yet mum ? I am bored look lol !
I love the look of snow on logs , bare trees and grasses !
This little guy was tapping away at the suet and ignoring me with my camera !
I am sure you all remember the fungi from a few of my posts.. well they are bigger now and covered in snow so I photographed them again lol ! Well they have snow on them this time hehe !!!!!
Our buddy Charlie checking out the surroundings !
Miggs talking to George the Crow as he sits up in the tree teasing her looking down at her as he is cawing ! She hears him and she runs to chat with him lol !
Our little Chickadee's follow me when I have my camera, chirping , kind of like getting my attention saying hey lady take out photos please aren’t we cute ? lol That you are guys !
Our little Red Breasted Nut hatch I named Nutty gets in all the action and makes his peep peep sound and cracks the seed shells loudly to get my attention !
Well then some of the other little birdies get in all the fuss to and that I like cause they practically strike a pose for me lol !
Well I hope I didn’t bore ya to death with all my photos I know it can get tedious sometimes always looking at the same type of photos and lots of birds and what not but it is what goes on here in our neck of the woods most days and that is the way I like it lol !
Until next time !

Beautiful pictures of your birds, all trying their best to stay warm and fed.
Miggs is having all kind of fun, enjoying playing in the snow.
Beautiful shots Elaine.

The place is so pretty with the snow fall and you have a lot of gorgeous birds in your garden. That shot of Miggs looking bored is priceless.
How fortunate you are to be in the woods and you have posted some really lovely shots. So funny that Miggs talks to the crow.
These are all such great photos Elaine! I love the ones of the mushroom with the dusting of snow on them. You get lots of birdies there and nice to see the male cardinals. Have a great day and stay warm.
So many wonderful fine feathered friends at your feeders. Not many around here lately. Miggs looks so funny looking up at the crow, great pictures. Blessings Francine.
You could never bore me with your great photos, and these are no exception! I love getting the glimpse into your world, and your day--And a fun shot of Miggs however she's feeling is always an added treat too! :-) Stay warm, and enjoy your day!!
As always your photo's are wonderful. enjoyed them, love to watch the birds. Hug Miggs for me.
I like how you've named your bird family...I think I would do the same. Can't feed birds where I live right now cause the bears come...though hopefully they are all asleep today!
Beautiful photos, Elaine. You sure have an active yard there. I hope to increase our bird population once I am settled in the country. I get a lot of chickadees, nuthatch, wood-peckers and blue-jays. And of course, the ever annoying grey, red and black squirrels. I don't mind feeding them, though. They are hungry, too. I'm just about to make some suet for these hungry birds today. If I don't start making it they will have me in the poor-house. Thanks for stopping by and giving me a great idea. Barn board = bird-house. :) Deb
I expect they're happy to be fed through the winter, so they pay back in kind by being such good photo subjects for you!
Never boring! Just fabulous! xx
You have such a talent, Elaine in capturing the beauty of your subject.. xo
Beautiful scenes with the snow and birds!
