Ok I am going to say this mark my words I prefer SNOW !! to this damp dull dark mucky sloppy wet rain with fog . It has been dull damp and rainy for days at least SNOW is bright and the sun comes out more often but this stuff BLAH , BOO , YUCKY !! The temps have been mild up to + 6C I can handle that but the actual rainy weather NOT !! I just can get into the Christmas spirit with this YUCKY weather and gloom hanging around and it maybe mild but it is that get right to the bone dampness that just cuts like a knife . Not very pleasant weather for getting out and taking photos either !
Rain drops on the tree are pretty !
But even our birdies are scares in this weather can ya blame them who wants to eat and be all wet !
Even the valley seems to look bogged down with all the rain , fog and dampness !
This is the rainiest dampest December I can remember ever having ! Oh well it is what it is .
Oh Miggs you look wet did you rolly polly again ? .

Up here the snow's on the ground and doesn't appear to be going anywhere.
If this was as cold as winter got, I'd be a happy camper!

I'm tired of the clouds too. We had a break for about 30 minutes on Thursday and that's it. Rain, drizzle, fog and clouds. But, as you said, at least it's mild. We have another nor'easter coming tomorrow with mostly rain again. Quite a change from last December!
I hate to say this - so don't hate me! - but I prefer rain! I don't like the grey weather, but everything comes to a total standstill in this country if we get one flake of snow, so it makes life so very hard - unnecessarily so! - that I do prefer rain! Of course we do get dreadful flooding sometimes because of it, so perhaps the snow isn't so bad! xx

Same thing here. Buses cancelled because it might freeze, so it's technically a snow day even though it's raining.
I like rain but not that much!
