The weather has been so very warm here with sun , cloud and wind , temps hit a high of 15°C or 59°F , right now there is a sever thunderstorm watch with high winds .
Yesterday we did some last minuet yard clean up and wood stacking .
As for last nights banquet we didn’t go .. poor Papa wasn't feeling well , have you ever had it were your good most of the day then all of a sudden it hits you like a tone of bricks ? well that’s what happened and he rarely gets sick , so we stayed home got cozy and watched movies .
I quickly took a few photos of the moon last night as I liked how it looked all hazy looking with the moister in the air and the clouds around it .
Then I saw this moth on the patio doors … moth ? what the heck is he still doing around this time of year .. the warm weather has apparently woken up the bugs lol
Today was a putter day for us well I did laundry and what not lol Papa is feeling a bit better with a lot of TLC he will be as right as rain soon .

Lucky you to have a warm WARM DAY! That temp 59 degrees F sounds wonderful to me. This afternoon here it has gotten very windy and cool - imagine we have some weather coming in... Sorry to hear the Mr. was sick - hope he is feeling better soon!
the moth is cool. we hit 86F today! tomorrow is supposed to be 20 degrees lower for the high.
I hope your husband is feeling much better this evening. And yes, I've had the flu come on fast like that too. Usually I wake up in the middle of the night with it. Ugh! The moon has been brilliant the past 2 nights but I think the clouds will be hiding it tonight. We noticed the moths flitting about last night while driving too. It's so warm.

Oh...sorry to hear that you missed the banquet. But I do hope your hubby is feeling much better.
We are experiencing the same mild weather. It was like spring on Saturday; very warm for this time of year. And it's continuing to be quite mild, but we've got rain now!

The moon was awesome on Thursday night here...and then it kind faded into cloudiness!!
Would have liked to have gotten a few more shots...but...there is always next month!

Just realized I didn't answer your question on your recent visit. I saw Warhorse a few months back. I thought it was a wonderful yet very moving movie.

Those sudden not feeling well times can be surprising when there's no warning beforehand. Sorry you missed the awards dinner, but your backup plan of getting cozy and watching movies seems like a good one. We did the same this weekend. Weather here was also very warm and so we did lots of our todo yard work.
