An Early Morning Hunt

            For deer that is .

I had been seeing them lately in the field on Miggs and my walks  and of course when I didn’t have my camera on me so I figured since this morning the sun was rising and it was frosty and fresh  I would go out in the field and hunt them down  to see if I can find them and get some photos .. well no luck figures eh ?  oh well another time .

How ever  ..  I did have fun and it was beautiful as the sun was rising and the frost was crunching beneath my feet , the fresh crisp air waking me up and  the smell of the land as I breathed in deeply with the birds busy chirping, chattering and flying around from tree to tree  . So I decide to take photos from and in the field .

The old bridge down the road from us has been there since the early 1700s and is still in good condition ,  it leads over the river and to a long dead end road through the valley forest  .

The field has small forest areas here and there spread out .

Frost was heavier in spots then others in the field !

There is a trail all around the outer part of the field  and through part of the forest that is nice to walk .

Pine trees with their cones are looking wonderful now !

At the top of the valley  to the right  there is a farmers field . As you can see trees are becoming bare now !

The sun rise shone on this little beauty at the edge of the little forest in the field !

Fall 2013 November (30 of 30)

On the way back through the field I saw this pile of leaves with frost all over them as the morning sun was slowly melting the frost !

I may not of found the deer I set out to hunt and  take photos of but despite it all I had a nice early morning in the wild of the field, forest and fresh crisp air as the sun was rising .

Until next time ..have a snap happy day !

Isn't it typical?! I go out with camera and binoculars...nothing.
Forget them both...see everything!

If you wanna see deer, just come to our yard, quite often they just wander right through, even though we dont want them here.
I love the frost on the thistle plant, its pretty cool.
